Welcome to Cacao Adventures — your trusted source for authentic native cacao, wild-sourced directly from the Peruvian Amazon.Founded in 2023 by Samoa and Jose (a cacao post-harvest expert), Cacao Adventures was born from a shared love of real, unprocessed cacao and deep respect for the indigenous communities and small family farms who have cultivated it for thousands of years. We are a small, family-owned business with a big mission: to bring the world the purest, most ethically sourced ceremonial cacao available - with zero compromises. What We OfferAt Cacao Adventures, we offer a carefully curated selection of ceremonial cacao products from Peru, including:Ceremonial Grade Cacao — Our signature solid cacao coins, stone-ground from 100% whole cacao beans. No sugar, no dairy, no additives. Pure, rich, and deeply grounding — perfect for morning rituals, meditation, or daily ceremonies.Chocolate Bars — Crafted from our wild-sourced cacao with the same commitment to quality and purity that defines everything we make.Raw Cacao Beans & Nibs — Crunchy, and full of natural energy. Perfect for eating straight, adding to smoothies, or incorporating into recipes.Cacao Bundles — From our Origin Explorer to Roots of the Amazon and The Cacao Ceremonialist, our curated bundles are designed for every stage of your cacao journey — whether you're a curious beginner or a seasoned ceremonialist. Our Sourcing PhilosophyWe believe cacao should be wild, honest, and traceable. Every product we sell comes from wild cacao strains grown naturally in the Peruvian Amazon — never industrialized, never mass-produced. We work hand in hand with indigenous cacao-growing families, including Awajún communities, paying premiums above New York market prices to honor the quality of their work, and help protect their land and culture. We train them in post-harvest practices and when they achieve the standards we need, we are able to pay them a premium for doing the right work. Our cacao is crafted at origin

The customer service was great, and the cacao is in its own league- i just love the fruity smell that lingers in the bag, and that it translates also into taste! The cacao defenitly has its own personality. For serious cacao'ists- its a must.

The product came quickly and was packaged to protect from the heat. My daily cacao drink is delicious. I feel confident that there is no harmful cadmium levels because of the third party testing. Thank you for a healthy product.

Cacao pods were all melted on my last order. Besides that the quality is usually pretty good.

The cacao is amazing, shipped super fast and is superior. I am super disappointed to find that you're using AI generated images on your website marketing. Honestly it's a major obstacle to purchasing again. I know it's hard to get a business and product off the ground, but as a person who has worked in her all products for 20 plus years, you CAN and should take your own picture of your product. Either yourself or hire a photographer. AI is so incredibly off-putting, terrible for the environment which you claim to support aans want to protect, and it definitely makes me question authenticity. Please work toward using human generated art/photography/ graphics/copy in your marketing. Especially as a concietentous, ethical and earth and people supporting small business.

Hi there, thank you so much for taking the time to write this, and we're so happy you loved the cacao and the fast shipping! We really appreciate you raising this, because authenticity matters a lot to us too. All of our product photos were taken by a wonderful Peruvian photographer, and the jungle and farm images were taken by another Peruvian photographer who traveled with us to origin. Some of our images are compositions our graphic designer created by combining and editing our own photos, which can give them a polished, artistic look as we didn't take the picture in the photo session. The one exception is our Private Reserve image. That's a digital *render* made by our graphic designer, not an AI-generated image. Supporting real artists, from the farmers to the photographers and designers who help tell their story, is a big part of who we are. If there's a specific image you were thinking of, we'd love to know. Please email us at [email protected] and point us to it so we can take a look. Thank you again for your support and for holding small businesses like ours to a high standard. With gratitude, Samoa & the Cacao Adventures team
