Bucket ListersReviews of bucketlisters.com

I would not recommend Bucketlisters based on my experience. An unexpected circumstance left me unable to attend an event with a party that had come to town to visit, and when I reached out to resolve the situation, I was met with a rigid policy and an unreasonable solution rather than genuine customer service. The company’s policy states “No Refunds or Exchanges,” yet they were willing to make an exception if I purchased an entirely new set of tickets upfront before they would refund my original purchase. Why should I be expected to spend even more money and take on additional financial risk before receiving a refund for a purchase they were already willing to make an exception for? If Bucketlisters is willing to make an exception to its policy, then why not handle the situation fairly from the beginning? Offering an exception for one part of the transaction while requiring the customer to make another purchase before receiving their original refund is not a reasonable solution. I was not comfortable making a second payment without first receiving confirmation that my original purchase would be refunded, and I should not have to put myself in that position just to receive fair treatment. What is most frustrating is the complete lack of flexibility and customer consideration. Unexpected situations happen, and while I understand that businesses have policies, customer service means being willing to work with people when reasonable solutions are available. I know for a fact that keeping my money was more important to this company than treating me like a valued customer.

I recently attended an event on October 10, 2026 in Philadelphia. The event was called Horror on the USS Olympia. I wrote to request a refund because that event was not at all as it was advertised and was very disorganized. Those in attendance were supposed to be assigned different groups that were going to be working on solving puzzles and completing tasks. However, during the entire 3 1/2 hour experience, the group I was in only had to complete two tasks. The first was to find the fake blood stains around the ship and add up the corresponding numbers. The second was to find red tags hidden around the ship, which ultimately revealed nothing. There were very few clear instructions, rounds of "investigation" did not end when they were supposed to and ultimately there was a lot of sitting around and waiting to see what happen next. At the end, even the actor playing the captain was getting the number of disappeared crew members wrong, and this was a number we had heard all night in multiple clues. I bought 4 tickets and one person couldn't make it, so I didn't want a refund for that ticket. But another person was going to be an hour late and the workers at the event were hesitant to admit them because they said the event would be underway by then, so I called my friend and told them not to bother coming. However, they could easily have jumped in because nothing happened on time. For those reasons, I requested a refund for three tickets. Bucketlisters said they reached out to the vendor that did the show and that the vendor declined to issue a refund. But the tickets were sold through them so they should take some responsibility. I gave two stars and not one because their customer service people were nice, they just didn’t resolve the issue.

My experience with bucketlisters was great. Dayron was super helpful in answer my questions in a timely manner and was also very friendly. It really was a pleasure!

Incredible customer service! Quick, helpful, and friendly! Highly recommended! ♥️

🚨 Avoid This Place – Horrible Service & Disappointing Experience 🚨 Save your money and don't bother coming here. Tickets cost almost $25 per person, which only includes one drink. We came as a party of seven, and it took a full hour just to get all seven of our drinks. The staff brought them out one by one about every 10 minutes (sometimes two at a time), meaning our group couldn't even drink together. To make matters worse, a few of us ordered the exact same drink, but none of them tasted the same—there is zero consistency at the bar. On top of that, they brought the wrong drinks to our table multiple times, and we constantly had to tell them, "Nope, we didn't order that." The food was just as bad: * Truffle Fries: They arrived lukewarm and incredibly oily. * Sandwich: The waitress couldn’t even find it on her order list at first. When it finally came out, it was served to us in a cheap Gladware to-go container. The decor is nothing special and the bar was not busy at all. There were four bartenders working, so there is absolutely no excuse for why it took an hour to get a single round of drinks. It is completely not worth it. There are plenty of other fantastic bars in the downtown Gaslamp area that offer a much better Halloween experience. Skip this pop-up!

Shout out to Daryon. He was working outside office hours and helped me with rescheduling at like midnight, super easy.

I bought tickets thinking this would be a very good concept but was poorly disappointed. You would think there would be four performers, one representing ea h of the original characters. There was really only 1. A second performer did a few things that fell flat. They lip synced to Golden Girls audio clips, the performers didn’t take on the persona of the GG characters. The show itself barely lasted an hour. “Brunch”tickets meant you received one “complementary” drink and most food entrees were small and $16. Save your money, folks. Although it is a great concept, the show itself was not worth it.

Unfortunately, out of the four events that I have purchased from this company, only one was good. In most cases, the events and experiences are not as described online. The app glitched on me when I was attempting to retrieve tickets at the last event I bought tickets to. My group of friends even discussed the disappointment of the events to other groups of people to discover we were not alone in this thought. All around, I would dissuade people from using this service and their events in the future. Highly disappointing because they look fun.
