We had a wonderful experience with Brilliant Grades. Our daughter enjoyed working with her tutor and we saw her performance at school improve. Scheduling was easy and the staff was always responsive with any questions we had about billing, etc. Would definitely recommend!

Very easy process to sign up. Everyone I've spoken to was kind and thorough in explaining and answers questions. It was easy to reschedule classes.

Brilliant grades is the middle-man between the tutor/teachers and the students. They don't do anything to ensure that the tutor/teacher will be available for classes however they will ensure that they charge the family each and every time to ensure that they get their cut. Obviously not a professional company if they can't even deal with scheduling correctly. If you look up the company listed in their terms of service there isn't anything listed online. Smells of fraud all around. Quick update, Brilliant Grades has acknowledged their mistakes, although I didn't consent to having my personal email address publicly available and they have asked me to take down the negative review acknowledging that they are aware of the situation. Additional update: They pretended that they were going to issue a refund, I assumed they thought I would take down my review first. No refund has been processed, although they attempted to have my review taken down. Latest update 2/11/2025: They responded to the review claiming that's not how they operate. I still have the voicemail where they asked to take down this review. It took them over a year to respond after making false claims and attempting to have the review taken down. Still no refund from them.

Hi Michael, We always try to address concerns fairly, but there are a few things in your review that don’t reflect how we operate. We connect families with great educators and work hard to make sure everything runs smoothly. If a teacher/tutor is unavailable, we step in to help—but like any service that coordinates people, occasional scheduling issues can happen. When they do, we do our best to make it right. As for refunds, we never play games. If one was promised and hasn't gone through, reach out and we’ll get it sorted. And to be clear—we don’t ask anyone to take down honest reviews. Our focus is on improving where needed and setting the record straight when something isn’t accurate.
I liked that the process of signing up was very thorough even learning what my daughter's best way of learning was. My daughter said she didn't just like her math tutor Camila but that she loved her! That's saying a lot coming from a kid who hates math.
