The company is very kind and thoughtful but the kit of the products are pretty confusing and many times very fragile or useless. I would keep the box for longer, but overall the collection of products are not worth it. Once more I affirm how nice the company and employees are but it wasn't a good fit for me.

I wanted to like Breo so badly but was informed the week after my purchase that they oversold their spring box. The two options were to do nothing and simply get the summer box when it came out or to get a refund now and automatically be recharged when the summer box was ready. This was going to be a birthday gift so summer is not an option. I’m disappointed because I went back and forth quite a bit over the $189 price tag but the reviews were great. I responded to the email that I wanted a refund and got an auto response that may take 2-3 days to get a response, which is also unfortunate as I need that money to purchase a different present for my dad. Though no fault of Breo this is the second time I’ve been burned by trying an expensive subscription and I’ll just keep it local in the future. I also didn’t really get the sense that they felt all that bad, the email really made me feel like I should be ok with this because they’re a small company and so busy and honestly I should expect things like this to happen. I don’t feel like their email was an attempt “to make it right” by the customer.

Hi Kimi! First off, again, we have to apologize -- please understand, that we over sold due to a clerical error and really wish it wouldn't have happened. The options offered were to keep the order for the upcoming Summer 2020 edition or refund your money and cancel your order, which is really the best we can offer. Our customer service team is working through these requests, but as you can imagine, you weren't the only one impacted, so it will definitely take a few days to get this completely resolved. Unfortunately, through written communication, it's tough to express emotion, but of course, we're truly sorry about this issue. We don't expect you to just be "ok" with it, we want to make sure each of our subscribers is happy, so that's why we offered to push that order to our next box, or process a refund & cancellation. We hope you'll reconsider and edit your review, as these mean a lot to us and we never want to be misrepresented to future customers, but totally understand if you still feel this way after our reply. Honestly, when I joined the subscription I thought the item shipped would be of a higher caliber then those I've received so far. At least that was my impression from doing research. I'm keeping the subscription with the hope that they will get better. Thank you for the opportunity to provide this input. I look forward to being pleasantly surprised in the future.
