We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating it can be to have an account flagged unexpectedly, especially after a long history of successful purchases. Buya.com’s fraud prevention and account security systems are designed to help protect both buyers and pawn shop sellers from fraudulent activity, unauthorized transactions, and marketplace abuse. In some cases, automated systems may trigger additional review based on purchasing patterns or account activity, even when transactions are legitimate. While these safeguards are important for marketplace security, we recognize that false positives can create a frustrating customer experience. We also understand your concerns regarding communication and account review transparency. Feedback like yours is valuable and helps us continue refining our fraud detection processes, machine learning systems, and customer support experience to better balance security with a smooth purchasing experience. Our goal is always to help pawn shops maximize online sales opportunities while providing buyers with a secure and reliable marketplace experience. We would appreciate the opportunity to review your account and concerns further. Please contact our team directly at [email protected] so we can look into the situation in more detail.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating it can be to encounter repeated transaction interruptions, especially as a frequent buyer on the Buya marketplace. Our fraud prevention and payment security systems are designed to help protect both customers and pawn shop sellers from unauthorized transactions, account abuse, and online fraud. In certain situations, automated risk reviews may flag transactions based on a combination of factors beyond just billing and shipping address matches. While these systems are intended to improve marketplace security, we recognize that false positives can negatively impact legitimate customers and create a poor purchasing experience. For the smoothest checkout experience, we also recommend using the same billing and shipping address whenever possible, as mismatched information can sometimes trigger additional verification or transaction reviews through payment and fraud screening systems. We also understand your concerns regarding consistency, communication, and the difficulty in receiving timely explanations or support. Feedback like yours is important and helps our teams continue refining our fraud detection tools, transaction review processes, and customer support experience to better balance security with convenience for trusted buyers. Buya’s goal is to provide pawn shops and retailers with a secure online marketplace while ensuring customers can shop confidently and reliably across the platform. We would appreciate the opportunity to review your account activity and concerns in greater detail. Please contact our support team directly at [email protected] so we can investigate further and assist you directly.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating it can be when a completed purchase is unexpectedly cancelled without clear communication or timely follow-up. Buya works with independent pawn shops and retailers across the country to help facilitate secure online transactions and marketplace visibility. In some situations, orders may be automatically flagged or cancelled due to inventory synchronization issues, payment verification concerns, or fraud prevention measures — including cases where billing and shipping information do not fully align. For the smoothest checkout experience, we generally recommend using the same billing and shipping address whenever possible. That said, we understand your concerns regarding communication, order transparency, and difficulty reaching the appropriate support channels. Customers should feel informed and supported throughout the purchasing process, and we recognize that your experience did not meet those expectations. We also appreciate your feedback regarding response times and escalation handling. Feedback like this is important as we continue improving marketplace support processes, communication workflows, and the overall Buya customer experience for both buyers and participating pawn shop sellers. Our goal is to provide a secure and reliable online marketplace that helps connect customers with trusted pawn shop inventory nationwide while supporting successful transactions for both buyers and stores. We would appreciate the opportunity to review the situation further and assist directly. Please contact our support team at [email protected] with your order details so we can investigate further.
