I love it I subscribed to Boot.dev to "profesionalise" some of my self taught knowledge as I was applying it more and more in my day-to-day work. I initially subscribed for a year, with an affiliate code as they sponsor quite a bit of you the YouTube channels I tend to watch. As per usual, I set a calendar reminder to review my subscription. What happened? Boot.dev contacted me even before my reminder went off just to make sure I didn't renew on accident. These type of practices underscore how well Boot.dev is ran making sure they're looking after their students. That's before we get into the gamefied learning, which is heavily effective for me and the quality of content being very very high

I have tried learning coding before. Once with my cousin who works as a backend developer, and once through a fast track 9 month coding course through UCD (University College Dublin) served by Code Institute. I only lasted 2 months in that course and life got in the way of me learning with my cousin. Boot.dev is by far the easiest and most engaging way I've found to learn coding. I have stuck with it for several months now and feel like I am making proper progress. Every course builds up as you follow through the established course flow and there's a plethora of assistance tools to help you whenever you get stuck. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in coding.

I like the approach of hands of project and the rol game style.

200 a year to learn the most relevant coding languages, with a Discord and a support email to go to if you don’t want to use the LLM the developer implanted(Boots) to explain things to you when you’re stuck. Honestly a godsend for me

Very nice to learn as a beginner, the courses are very good and the challenge are a nice complement. The RPG-like environment is a nice touch, so you dont realise you are learning but you are playing. And to finish the community is very respectful and helpful. So i recommend at 100% if you want a good first start (at least because I dont know for the much experimented part, not being an expert).

My main goal with Boot.dev was to transform from QA to Dev. I couldnt even imagine, that I fall this much into coding... Boot dev makes is fun, simple yet challenging way to learn it all. Some courses are weaker, but others are really strong. If you want to learn programming, you should give it a try. Its cheap, its strong, its well structured. And they improve and add new stuff often.

Boot.dev has great courses and the gamification helps with keeping consistent. additionally they have purchasing power parity which was a major help for someone from a country where dollars are not easy to come by.
