Very Disappointed With Shipping Practices and Lack of Transparency
I placed an order for a full set of golf clubs from BombTech Golf on September 5, 2026. At checkout, I paid for expedited shipping advertised as 2–5 business days because I had also purchased other items that I coordinated around the expected arrival of my golf clubs. After placing the order, I contacted BombTech customer service when I became concerned about the shipping status. I was told that full sets are not scheduled to ship until September 14th. The representative stated that this information is disclosed somewhere on the BombTech website. However, I went through the website and could not find any clear notice stating that full sets would not ship until September 14th. My biggest concern is that BombTech is still offering the 2–5 business day expedited shipping option for full sets. If full sets are not even going to ship until September 14th, customers should not be given the impression that paying extra for 2–5 business day shipping will result in their order arriving within that timeframe. At a minimum, the expected processing/shipping date should be clearly disclosed before customers pay for expedited shipping. BombTech did refund the expedited shipping charge after I contacted them, which I appreciate. However, that does not resolve the underlying issue. I specifically paid for expedited shipping on my other purchases as well, with the expectation that those items would arrive around the same time as my golf clubs. I did this intentionally so that everything I needed would arrive together and I could start using the clubs as planned. Now that I’ve learned the golf clubs will not even ship until September 14th, those other purchases will arrive before I even have the clubs they were purchased for, which completely defeats the purpose of paying for expedited shipping on those orders. If the September 14th shipping date had been clearly disclosed when I placed my BombTech order, I would have planned my other purchases and shipping accordingly. I am very disappointed with the lack of transparency. I have to believe I am not the only customer who ordered a full set and paid for expedited shipping without realizing that the order would not ship until September 14th. I believe BombTech should clearly disclose the delayed shipping date for full sets before customers place their orders, and the 2–5 business day expedited shipping option should not be offered in a way that could reasonably lead customers to believe their clubs will arrive within 2–5 business days when the order will not even ship during that period. I hope BombTech addresses this issue and makes its shipping and processing information much clearer for future customers.
