Had this company move the rest of my belongings from New Jersey to Virginia. Made everything easy and efficient for a big move. Thanks BLACKSTONE movers!

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you as a valued customer
I only realized I was getting this moving company about a week or 10 days before my actual move date. I was using a broker, unbeknownst to me at the beginning, and thought their affiliated company was also my moving company. Blackstone Movers seemed OK at the onset, but when my furniture and belongings arrived finally, lots of things were broken and missing. Very haphazard and I ended up paying lots more as well! BEWARE!!!!

We requested additional information because we have been unable to locate anyone with your name in our records. At this time, it appears this review may be intended for another company. Based on the experience you described, we take customer service very seriously and work hard to ensure that any concerns are addressed and resolved promptly. I personally handle all claims and customer complaints, and I have no record of any customer reporting an issue similar to the one described in this review. We would be happy to investigate further if you can provide additional information, such as the name the move was booked under, your job number, or the date of service. Without that information, we are unable to verify that you were a customer of our company. This version remains professional while making it clear that you cannot verify the reviewer as a customer.
Blackstone Movers did a great job, and I am very happy with the overall experience. The team was professional, careful with my belongings, and made the move smooth from start to finish. They arrived a little later than planned, but the delay was due to heavy traffic caused by a nearby accident, which I completely understand. I would definitely use them again.

We are happy to hear you are satisfied with our service. Thank you for your feedback
Although a previous order and difficult traffic after a school vacation resulted in a very late delivery, the movers kept me informed of their arrival, were very polite, personable and professional, and handled things with care. I was also pleased to have the same team of drivers for both the pickup and delivery despite a 2 month difference. Although I don’t anticipate another move, I would contract with them again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We truly appreciate it. While we understand that the delivery timing was later than expected, we’re glad to hear that our team kept you informed every step of the way. Communication is something we take very seriously, especially when circumstances outside of our control impact timing. We’re also happy to hear that the crew made a positive impression. Maintaining professionalism, care, and consistency. It means a lot to know that despite the delay, you would choose to work with us again. Thank you again for your trust and for allowing us to handle your move.
We are shocked at any good reviews of this company. I almost think it is boosted by some questionable 5 star reviews after having read the 1 star reviews that sound similar to ours. We are in our 60's and have moved due to my husbands profession at least five times in last ten years and have experienced much from moving companies. We have had our posessions held in trucks unless we payed 15,000$ more, to this experience of not receiving our four post bed, framed floor length mirror and antique multi-drawered chest. The broken 55 inch TV, and many other broken frames, glass, crystal and china plus the mover took our 6 foot fiberglass werner ladder. We received someone elses antique grandfather clock, which we returned and other boxes filled with someone else's personal items. It has been nothing but a negative experience and now quite frankly, not worth any further negativity or effort for resolve of this issue. I am sure this is what moving companies rely on. This is through much experience of moving 16 times in our lifetime not just once. Thank god our next move will be to the crematorium! So, we hold Safe Ship Moving of Florida and Blackstone Movers of NJ responsible for the worst of our moves . Between them we payed 16,000 dollars for one truck! At least the company who made us pay more after supposed agreed price had all our furniture and did not damage a thing. SO OUR ADVICE FOR ANYONE MOVING IS TO HIRE A TRUCKDRIVER AND PAY YOUR OWN PRIVATE HELPERS TO LOAD AND UNLOAD AND SAVE ALL THE HASSEL AND HEARTBRAKE OF DEALING WITH SUPPOSED PROFESSIONAL MOVING COMPANIES.

We appologize if you feel we didn't communicate enough. We tried to update you with any information as we received it. We check our records and notice there were responses. If there is anything we are missing please contact us
Reading the reviews is why I picked this company. UNFORTUNATELY IT WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE FOR ME!!!!! My living room leather sofa arrived with holes and tears, mattress and box spring, outdoor grill damaged and missing boxes which I did not mention everything. After trying for three months to file a claim they offered me $90.00.

We don't know who this is. We requested additional information and you didn't respond.
Lost one of my moving bags which contained all My work items that I use as a merchant mariner, and offerd 18.00. The bag alone was worth eighteen dollars. Will never use this company again

We don't know what we are talking about. This is the first time I hear of anything missing. If there was an issue and you tried to contact our office, we would have resolved it. If you are offered an amount by the claims department, that is what your entitled to based on the valuation coverage that is not insurance. However, we always try to work with our customers. To try to compensate them, it's when possible or locate whatever missing item they have.
