Visited the Woodcote Nursery today. The product I required (12 Lavender plants)) were available, in excellent condition, already watered. On checkout, I was asked if I was a club member so I immediately joined. The staff were , as usual, very helpful and delivered the plants to my car. I am always impressed by the service and the products that are available all year.

Had op done in Bristol everything was first class but there were problems before. Originally went to Birmingham with a thick cataract which was diagnosed as complex. Month or so went by and I rang to get date but couldn't get answer which happened on at least two occasions. Eventually got my optician to chase and problems were explained and sorted by Jack who was very good. It's a pity had to get opticians and Jack to sort as I believe earlier staff should have sorted. Maybe opticians should direct thick cataracts to centres who specialise

I had a little trepidation before my cataract operation at SpaMedica Widnes on 25 June but that was totally ill-founded. The experience was absolutely first class from start to finish. Now, one day later, I am seeing distance clearly without spectacles for the first time in over 30 years. Can't wait to get the other eye done. I cannot praise the team there enough.
