BioLiteReviews of bioliteenergy.com

This company provided excellent customer service! I bought a Luci Charge 360 light. When it arrived, I immediately charged it. I didn't need to use it until a few months later. It worked for a couple hours and then died on me. I tried to recharge it, but it did not accept a charge. I contacted the BioLite customer service and Layn was wonderful to work with! After some troubleshooting to see if some things would work to fix it and it still did not work, they sent a replacement light to me. Fast, friendly customer service!!

I've long been a fan of BioLite products - which speak for themselves - but I'm writing this to say that their support is just as good. I had a charger fail for my power bank. It was clear it was a total product failure despite normal use. I engaged with support, exchanged a couple of emails with supporting evidence, and within a couple of weeks I had a replacement in-hand. It's really all I could ever ask for in ongoing support from a company.

One of the best customer services out there. Biolite makes electronics and sometimes there are things that just do not work as intended, It happens. But having contact with an actual person and the way they communicate is worth a full 5star rating.

The service is absolutely flawless. Best customer service experience i had in a long time. Lyan helped me so much, went the extra mile most definitely. It is not 5 stars only because the product itself was defected from first place, and its replacement was defected too. So the product is mediocre, but the service is great.

I had two very helpful interactions with costumer service, one that helped me troubleshoot an issue I had and the next to replace my lights due to a battery issue. Both members of the team were helpful, patient, and quick to respond. I love my BioLite products and will continue to support their business with their great team!

I sent a message to customer service with a general question. Layn Lapuz, a customer service representative, responded with in a couple of hours. Her answer was thoughtful, truthful and kind. The mission of BioLite is important to us and their products are well made. So because of those two reasons we will continue to support and purchase BioLite products. We have been very vocal and shared with others how great their products are, especially the camping stove and its ability to convert heat into electricity.

Had a string light for camping. It had light use but stopped working (think the battery failed as it still works when plugged in). Spent ages going back and forth with customer service sending videos etc. only to be told they would do nothing as I couldn’t find purchase receipt. They then offered a 15% discount on a new unit. I would Suggest people spend a bit more money and buy something that will last longer. Ours is going to the Electical recycling unfortunately. If only they had responded better I could writing a really positive review. How do people who work in customer service not get this?

I am writing this review after three failed delivery attempts for a single order (EU7822) spanning over a month. I ordered directly from BioLite at the end of July. What followed was an exhausting, month-long loop of failed deliveries, ignored instructions, and zero proactive communication from their team: Attempt 1 (Late July): The package was turned around after a single alleged delivery attempt, despite me being home all week. I had to reach out manually just to get tracking details. To avoid further issues, I explicitly asked support to route future attempts to a local DHL Pick-Up Point. Attempt 2 (Mid-August): BioLite ignored the pick-up point agreement and dispatched it to my home address again. Delivery failed again. Once more, I had to reach out to get tracking, open a case with DHL myself, and provide BioLite with the exact case number and instructions on how to set up carrier SMS alerts for Polish phone numbers. Attempt 3 (Late August): A third reshipment was dispatched, stuck in transit in the Netherlands, and eventually sent back to the sender yet again. Support’s final suggestion was simply asking me to "contact DHL from my end" to move it along. Throughout this entire process, I was the one doing all the heavy lifting, chasing down tracking numbers, calling DHL, providing case numbers, and explaining local courier routing. BioLite's support offered no real solutions, failed to configure courier instructions correctly, and left me managing their logistical failure. I genuinely like BioLite's hardware, but their direct retail and shipping operations are completely broken. Save yourself the headache and buy their products exclusively through third-party retailers.
