Better Flood Insurance, also known as The Flood Nerds, helps homeowners, buyers, realtors, and lenders make smarter flood insurance decisions by shopping the market instead of steering people to just one policy. We review NFIP and private flood insurance options, narrow them down, and recommend strong coverage that fits the property, the budget, and the situation. In a market where many companies appear to offer expertise but mainly sell their own option, Better Flood was built to provide real comparison, plain-English guidance, and a clearer path forward. Our team helps clients avoid overpaying, undercoverage, confusion, closing delays, and last-minute surprises through careful review, practical support, and flood-specific expertise.
Better Flood Insruance - Your Flood Nerd® (betterflood.com) has 32 customer reviews on The Fair Hearing, with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5.

They found a policy that I feel accurately assesses our realworld flood risk. Wish I found these guys years earlier given the amount of money we saved.

My experience with Flood Nerds was great! They gave me a choice to communicate via email or by a phone call. I choice email and that how they communicated with me. It did not take long to get a quote and they keep me up to date. The price was great and I would recommendated them to anyone I know looking for flood insurance.
