Total scam. They claimed to be AMAZON publishing and charged me money for services that Amazon does for free. "Emma" and "Adam" were people I dealt with. They sent me an AMAZONSPUBLISHER invoice.

To whom it may concern, I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding the conduct of one of your representatives during an unsolicited marketing call I received today. **Call details** - Date: 7 May 2026 - Time: 14:14 GMT - Number called from: +44 20 3670 0015 / 020 3670 0015 - Representative: Sebastian (stated he was "calling from Best Publishers regarding marketing") - Recipient: Kai Sublime **Nature of the complaint** During the call, in an attempt to provide context for my situation, I shared sensitive personal information with Sebastian. His response was to laugh. When I asked to be transferred to his manager, he refused to do so, instead repeatedly demanding to know why I wished to escalate. After I declined to share my reason and asked again to be passed on, he stated it was "not possible" to transfer me to a manager. I ended the call. Subsequent attempts to call back were unsuccessful. This conduct is unacceptable on multiple counts: 1. Laughing at a customer who has just disclosed sensitive personal information is a fundamental breach of professional conduct and basic human decency. 2. Refusing a customer's explicit, repeated request to escalate to a manager is a breach of standard call-handling protocol. 3. Demanding a reason as a precondition to escalation is improper — the request itself is the trigger. **What I expect from you** 1. A written acknowledgement of this complaint within 5 working days. 2. A formal investigation, including review of the call recording (which I trust is retained per standard practice). 3. A written apology from Sebastian and from a senior manager. 4. Written confirmation of the disciplinary or remedial action taken. 5. Confirmation that my number has been removed from all marketing and contact lists held by Best Book Writers and any affiliated entities, and that I will receive no further calls. I expect a substantive response within 10 working days. If I do not receive one, I will escalate to the Information Commissioner's Office and to Trustpilot, where I will document this experience publicly. Regards, Kai Sublime

Writing my children's book was easy, but the idea of getting it published was daunting. Until Best Book Writers came to my rescue, this quality company was knowledgeable and caring. They handle every aspect of publishing my book, from illustrations to formatting, editing to marketing, and publishing on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and IngramSparks. The creativity of the cover is beautiful, and the illustrations are charming. Emma, my project manager, is the heart and soul of publishing my book. To me, she is the best of the best. Every question was answered, and every concern was handled. Emma’s calming, caring, knowledgeable, and professional nature brought my book to life. I will be forever grateful to Emma and Best Book Writers.
