Becker has a great program for AUD but I would never offer their BEC program to anyone. I think it’s still worth it overall, better than nothing but be prepared to be frustrated trying to find an answer to a question that you could never solve with the information in the lecture, then two units later learning how to solve that question. You might have to look up a decent amount of information online to answer the questions.

Sat for the first section (REG) of CPA exam using only Becker. Was able to pass first time with an 80 while working full time with an 18 month old toddler. If you put in the work and become "Exam day ready" I think the preparation needed to pass the exam is great.. Next onto BEC!

After studying for FAR, I passed the exam on my first try thanks to Becker. What they teach is good stuff, especially the core concepts and mimicking the exam’s time constraints and format. Now, I will say: they’re test questions are often MUCH harder and more complex than the true exam will be. However, if you practice with these, the real exam will feel much easier to comprehend quickly.

Well, even though Peter Olinto's acronyms drove me completely crazy and I had to skip over the majority of his lectures because it was just SO frustrating, certainly the remainder of the material was extremely useful because I passed all 4 on my first attempt using only Becker. I love the explanations on the MCQs to help reinforce why it's right or wrong and the video explanations for SIMs was extremely useful. But for the love of God, please stop with the excessive use of acronyms!

I love that Becker provides review materials and organizes them well so that I don't have to waste precious time and energy developing a study regimen from scratch. This is crucial for someone working full-time and caring for a family like me, and the mobile app helps me to study during my commutes so that I can make even more use of the time I have. Having passed FAR on the first try after exclusively using Becker, I can feel confident that as long as I make it through the material completely before my exam and pass the mini exams and simulations, then I will succeed on the real exam. Bottom line: my energy goes to reviewing only relevant material and making time to do it, not to deciding what to study. Complaints are minor; I think Garrity can be unengaging to listen to, and sometimes there are minor bugs (ex: exam reminder emails didn't match the exam date I gave, so I was getting "your exam is in 2 weeks" emails the week after I took my exam). I also wish that the chapter SIM problems were available on the mobile app, so that I could fully use my commute time to study. None of these invalidate the study material and structure.

I have done very well on the FAR & REG. I have learned to trust the process. It’s hard to try not to perfect every skill but take the advice and work the process. The online review has been very helpful in addition to the regular program. I do feel that the adapt 2 U gets a little too granular and sometimes excludes review of the more general topics. Overall, I am having good success.

Seemed to include everything on my test. Very hard to digest the book material. Lectures are getting better but still hard to follow

Becker is very helpful, but I wish the videos were more in-depth. For REG, the instructors said they would teach the material so that if you had never had a tax class before you could still learn; however, they were going so fast with the material I could barely keep up and I've had many tax classes in college. Also, the simulations on the AUD section are not near as hard as the actual exam, so I would change them to be more inline with the exam.
