Bath PlanetReviews of bathplanet.com

My experience with Bath Planet Atlanta was absolutely awful. What is sold as a 2 day install turned out to be 30+ days. The initial installers did shoddy work even damaging the walls in the adjoining bedroom and closets. After getting them to come out to work on what was an unfinished bathroom remodel/installation they thought only priming the damaged walls was sufficient and told me I would have to paint the walls on my dime. Only weeks later after having another installer come out over and over (literally 3 times) to clean up behind the initial installers--missing stuff he should have been catching and fixing—Bath Planet finally budged and painted the walls. But let that sink in: the company that did damage to my walls wanted me to fix their damaging work on my own dime. What’s worse about this entire experience is that the owner, Daniel Bradley, once he gets a hold of you doesn’t have any of his team take ownership of their shoddy work or awful customer service. They’re all lying together, and he supports their lies and lies right along with them/not providing any customer service himself. I’ve never seen anything like it. It was truly an amazing experience to watch an owner not try to help a customer and side with his unprofessional/shoddy team. (When I worked at the airlines we upgraded ppl to first class for far less company inconveniences.) But I guess they say a fish rots from the head down. ALL PICTURES ARE TAKEN AFTER THE INSTALLERS THOUGHT THEY WERE DONE WITH THE INSTALL! (Imagine that! Look how unfinished. They even left remnants of the tub they were breaking down in my lawn.) Look elsewhere for your remodel! They don't deserve your business. These installations aren't cheap and their craftsmanship and customer service is shoddy to say the least. They don't ever return phone calls.

I paid a $4,000 deposit to Bath Planet for a tub to shower transition on 6/13/2022. Work was to begin within 6 to 8 weeks. The work never started and no one returned my calls (I have TMobile phone logs to substantiate my calls). Bath Planet claims I never called. I am demanding a full refund. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (#17741795) & an arbitration is scheduled for 11/10/2022.

Please be cautious about expecting too much from Bath Planet of Atlanta, especially if you are a consumer who appreciates returned telephone calls, reliable information, or responsiveness to your concerns. In March 2022, I signed paperwork with their sales representative for replacement of my master bath shower and tub surround. A week later, the technician did the first measurement, and I waited for the second required measurement to be done to complete their contract. I had also been told to be patient because of “supply chain issues.” So, I waited patiently. Suddenly on June 2, Bath Planet called and set an appointment for June 7 for the installation without the required second measurement or any explanation about why the second measurement was unnecessary. Late on the evening of June 6, however, they cancelled the appointment because, as the caller said, "a workman dropped the shower pan and broke it." However, no one could explain what that meant as far as rescheduling the installation was concerned (a week? a month? another 2-3 months?). None of my requests for additional information were returned, even by the salesman who had assured me that he would always be available if I had questions. After several days, I was able to speak with someone identifying himself as the warehouse manager; he told me that they would give my installation “the highest priority,” and it should be in early July. By mid-July, I still had not heard anything from anyone. Again, no one seemed to be able to give me any kind of a status update, and no one would return my calls. By the end of July, I was totally frustrated with their lack of responsiveness or even the most basic information, and I cancelled the contract by certified letter. Amazingly, starting 2 weeks after they received my letter, I received a series of phones calls. The first Bath Plant caller wanted to know how I was enjoying my Bath Planet products! Days later, another caller asked what the status was of my installation. Later, others wanted to do the second measurement and still others the installation. I have asked for a partial refund of the very large deposit they requested (and which I paid in cash) back in March. They refuse to give me even a partial refund, and no one has ever apologized for the inconvenience and frustration I endured. In fact, they insist they want to continue with the installation, but I realize now that if I had a problem with the quality of the materials or performance of their product, I would never receive any response or corrective action. The loss of my large deposit has hit me very hard because I had saved for years to have this work done. I would rather that, though, than have a disaster in my master bathroom that I could never get fixed!

Bath Planet of Albuquerque installed our tub and shower to only look good but inside the walls were leaks, cut rate materials, pathetic installers. Never invite them into your home, do not believe they can deliver a good product. I suggest using Dreamstyle for any bath/shower installations. We have had superb results from a shower install by them. Now to get Bath Planet to pay for the plumbing bill to repair their inadequate workmanship and repair the wall that had to be cut to fix the problem. Never consider this company for any bath/shower needs. Buyer beware and do not be fooled by the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval. They lie!!

Why isn't the walk-in tub they show on their Facebook ad available on their web site? Cancelling my sales pitch appointment!

High pressure sales tactics. No itemized pricing. Seems a bit expensive -- $11,801.00 for a walk-in shower install. Failed to honor their advertised 0% interest for 5 years. Difficult to cancel contract -- sent a telegram per directions (there were other ways to do it, but wanted proof). Tried to say they were trying to do us a favor by not giving us the 0% and instead a fixed rate of 8.99% adding up to thousands of dollars more.

I had two bathrooms remodeled by Bath planet. I paid a premium to have the work done because I was assured by the salesman that it would be completed correctly and would be warrantied. The company representatives were very responsive during the sales process and prior to the install. During the installation debris from the demolition was lodged in my sewer line. Bath planet sent a plumber out to remove the debris from the sewer line.

wish i can give them minus 5 stars horrible after sales service
