Founded by actress and animal activist Katherine Heigl, we create products made with some of the healthiest foods on Earth — like premium, hearty beef from suppliers who care about the humane treatment of animals, as well as hand-selected superfoods for canine health. We also make it a priority to employ safe, responsible cooking practices by slow-cooking and air-drying our dog food to ensure maximum freshness and nutritional content. It’s all the good stuff your dog needs to thrive, with none of the bad. Named for her ranch in Utah where the Heigl Family rescues animals, Badlands Ranch stands for treating every dog with love and respect. That’s why it is a proud sponsor of the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation and its rescue efforts, medical care, obedience training, and placement of dogs in happy, loving homes. With every purchase of a Badlands Ranch product, you’re not just helping your dog achieve a healthier life… you’re helping another dog in need find a forever home.

I'm sure this is a good product, my dog took to it right away, but when I saw the small box on my porch I thought that no way is that 3 bags of dog food, it was, unfortunately it won't go far, I just can't afford the hoytie toytie food price, DweeZ will be disapointed

I have two Cavpaoo puppies (14 mo.). and am having a terrible time finding something they really like. Because this food is so expensive, and I have to make 3 bags last a month, I only sprinkle it on top of their other food. Both foods are hard and neither of them will eat it until they get really hungry. My complaints about this food is that I get about 1/3 cup of the food that is a powder residue in the bottom of the bag instead of the chunks and it is hard for them to chew so they are not eager to eat it .

a follow up to my review prior. I had to cancell all orders after continued bad info and delivery that never happened. The food was soo good I still gave it 3 stars. If they'd get their shipping and communication straightened out, they'd have got a 5 star and my dogs would have the food they needed. they lost 6 bag order on me.. Maybe Ill try again later on...Its a shame.

Wonderful product! Great results for my pups. All three dogs had itchy discolored fur and skin. After two weeks exclusively on the Badlands Ranch Super Food Complete formula, their skin and coats were youthful, shinny, and soft. I fully recommend this product and have been spreading the word. For me, the disadvantage is the cost. As a three dog household, I need 20 bags per month according to the feeding directions. That is WAY out of budget for me personally. Sadly, I will only be able to continue using it if I choose to use it as a topper for the more affordable kibble. This product would be the absolute best if the price was more comprable to kibble brands and if it came in a 15 or 25 lb bag for that price. Hopefully, the topper feeding will have the same results. However, if you have big bucks for your fur-babies…. DEFINITELY CHOOSE SUPERFOOD COMPLETE!!!!

Hello, my name is Paige. I am with Badlands Ranch. I am thrilled to hear your pups love our formula! We strive to keep our formulas as affordable as possible, while maintaining our very high standards of quality ingredients. We do understand that larger breed animals or multi pup homes will need more food. In this case, we recommend adding Superfood Complete as a topper to their regular food. This way your pup will still receive the great health benefits of Superfood Complete. A great way to receive the lowest available price is to start a recurring order for Superfood Complete or by signing up for our email newsletters. You will be instantly notified of offers and discounts. If you ever have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. My email is [email protected]. Have a great day.
My dogs loved the food. I have 2 beagles and cannot afford to have this as their only food source, so I started using it as a topper. That was affordable, however when I reordered I had to wait almost 3/4weeks to get more product, causing me to use an alternate topper. The food is amazing and my dogs love it, the supply to get needs to improve.

My dog loves her meal time. my only concern is that I placed an order on Dec. 4th and today is Dec 15th and the order is just now being shipped. How many bags do I need to order to have her food here. I only have one cup left for her dinner tonight.

Our order was placed on a Thursday. We were told she'd rush it because the first time it didn't go through. A week later I called and a few days later it finally arrived. Our dogs like your food, so that's the important thing. But we had to buy another food because it took so long.

Excellent dog food & treats, just very SLOW delivery. Great virtual "Chat" help, but difficult delivery services. I received email that my order (1Z064R590399694413) was delayed, but I saw that my delivery address was incomplete, so I used the Chat feature to see if I could get address corrected? But that's no help. I do have a correct address on file with Badlands website, so only the created UPS shipping label is wrong. Still waiting for 2 orders!
