Hi Andy, We are glad to hear that you have had a great experience working with Avvo. It's kind of you to say.
We are a small local San Gabriel law firm, Rodriguez Law Group, Inc. We absolutely love this company. Very fair, reasonable and awesome.

Hi Patricia, Thank you so much for your kind review.
Attorney Donna Cantor cheated on me. Not only she arranged the court to delay the case so she could collect more money, she also flipped the case to harm us. She is dishonest, unethical, and evil. Someone please stop her. From her reviews on other forums, it looks like that I am not her only victim. Avvo didn’t approve my review. They help a scammer to victimize more people. Do not trust Avvo review. Unless you write a good or slightly negative review , they will not approve it. They don’t want you

Hi Catherine, Thank you for reaching out to Avvo. Avvo posts both negative and postive reviews as long as they meet our community guidelines. You can find Avvo's community guidelines here: https://www.avvo.com/support/community_guidelines. After looking at your client reviews for the attorney I saw that we had already approved and posted one of your reviews in 2019. Avvo only allows one review to be posted for an attorney, any other reviews by the same poster would be denied as a duplicate. If you would like, please reach out to us at [email protected] and we would be happy to discuss it further.
Bad experience. They will not post my review of a dishonest attorney named Kelly Rauch. I have written over ten reviews and they still will not post it and they give vague reasons/excuses why. Don’t trust AVVO!

Contacted AVVO for legal advice. Rec'd a response from someone who used terms like "LOL","FYI" and appeared to be an 8th grader pretending to be a lawyer. He paid no attention to the headline or post I made in his original answer then contradicted himself numerous times in several follow up comments, all of which had nothing to do with legality or actual law, just opinion and conjecture based on assumptions. I made a comment that his legal advice was poor and his grammar was juvenile and literally within seconds my comment and original post was removed from the site. Then after (or right before) my post was removed he tried to literally troll me on my email with more asinine comments. Is this a joke?

Hi, Thank you for your feedback. I understand this can be frustrating and that lawyers can sometimes be rude. However, if they want to answer questions in this manner, they are welcome to do so as long as they abide by our Community Guidelines. http://www.avvo.com/support/community_guidelines. This allows potential clients to see what kind of service they provide and how they help their clients. Your question should not have been taken down, so it has been reposted. Avvo does request that you no longer respond to that attorney's comments as tempting as it might be. We do not allow for back and forth quarrels between attorneys and consumers. If you have any other questions or concerns please reach out to us at [email protected] and we will be happy to discuss this further.
AVVO is not legitimate and from just some quick research, it looks like lawyers.com is aligned with AVVO. AVVO won't allow 1 star reviews for their members. From what I can tell, attorneys can pay to be AVVO members and then they gain the protection of AVVO. If an attorney is a member and/or has five star reviews on AVVO, that means they must be bad attorneys to need AVVO protection. If an attorney or firm is on AVVO, I plan on staying away.

AVVO is not an Objective WEBSITE! I too have had much trouble in getting AVVO to approve ANY less than positive review from me of my former attorney. AVVO kept rejecting my reviews. Then they finally posted a revised review only after days of back and forth responses between them ,me and a 3rd party investigative board... stating we're sorry our team made a mistake. Then almost instantly after my review was posted... they must of notified the attorney...The attorney was allowed to post a very FALSE and degrading of me,Response on the AVVO review I left.( He also called and texted me threats) I calmly submitted my response on the AVVO site, to this attorneys attack of me, pointing out all the inaccuracies and providing proof his statements were wrong, and again AVVO sent me rejections of my response! AVVO now states they DO not allow Reviewers to respond to Lawyers response! They allowed the attorney to post a response that was 3-4 times the length of my review... must of been 3000 words. Clients just cant win with these folks... very, very Biased in favor of its attorneys. I understand AVVO gets compensation from these attorneys that it gives biased Ratings/scores/reviews for. I don't understand why an Attorney General has not stepped in and fully Investigated this Clearly Biased company.. AVVO has harmed so many people who use this site to make life changing decisions of what Lawyer to choose. I know first hand, I used their site to pick this attorney 2 years ago. He was rated 9.4( Outstanding) on their site, with 5 positive reviews( no negative), turned out to be one of the worst Lawyers ever!

Thanks for contacting Avvo. Avvo provides an open forum for clients to leave feedback regarding lawyers (as long as they meet our community guidelines) as well as an opportunity for lawyers to comment on it. We allow both parties to state their opinions but we don't allow any other comments. Please reach out to our customer care team at [email protected] if you wish to discuss this further.
I tried to leave a review to a lawyer but AVVO.com keeps denying it. "I already left a duplicate review but AVVO.com is reviewing it within 48 hours but it had been 5 days NO Review was given to the attorney. This AVVO.com is bias, waste of money, and must not be trusted by anybody looking for a refutable attorney. Just go to Yelp and Google reviews more honest to goodness.
