Avid ArmorReviews of avidarmor.com

Was supposed to receive my chamber sealer a while ago. Apparently shipment is delayed and I have emailed anvid armor multiple times and tried calling. I have gotten no response via email and every time I call it basically says we’re not here. Goodbye. I am extremely disappointed because I’ve started my food preserving already and I really was relying on having my chamber sealer by now. I have spent over $500 on this and I don’t know where to turn.

I really wanted to have a positive experience, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. The chamber sealer I received was defective from the start. To the company’s credit, their support team initially responded quickly, and one representative went out of his way to arrange a replacement. I genuinely appreciated that effort. Unfortunately, that’s where things fell apart. The replacement shipment encountered a customs issue that required information from the company to proceed. Despite multiple reported attempts by the customs broker to contact them—and several follow-up emails from me—the communication suddenly stopped. I received no updates, no responses, and no explanation. As a result, the replacement unit was returned to the sender, and I was left with a defective machine and no resolution. It’s incredibly frustrating because the experience started with what seemed like excellent customer service but ended with complete silence. A good product can have the occasional defect, and I understand that happens. What I find much harder to accept is being left without any communication or follow-through after the company had already begun resolving the issue. Based on my experience, I can’t recommend this product or the company’s customer support.

I purchased the Avid Armor Jumbo 30 Plus through Amazon in 2023 to help supplement my old FoodSaver unit. Online reviews were great and I wanted a high quality unit that would last and help seal everything for my large family. I paid $275 for this unit. Recently a plastic clip on the side broke rendering the unit unusable which is fine I understand the warranty was 1 year so I was fully expecting to need to pay for the parts. However I came to find out this particular unit apparently was NOT an avid armor product but was made by another manufacturer. I tried contacting this other company and they don't answer emails or calls. When I spoke with Brooklyn at Avid Armor she said they don't have parts, can't obtain them and offered a lesser unit for $140!!! They want me to pay them even more money for a lower end product. That's what you get when you buy Avid Armor. Oh and she also was kind enough to add she hopes I have a nice holiday after that.....
