Avaaz is a global web movement to bring people-powered politics to decision-making everywhere. Avaaz—meaning "voice" in several European, Middle Eastern and Asian languages—launched in 2007 with a simple democratic mission: organize citizens of all nations to close the gap between the world we have and the world most people everywhere want. The Avaaz community campaigns in 17 languages, served by a core team on 6 continents and thousands of volunteers. We take action -- signing petitions, funding media campaigns and direct actions, emailing, calling and lobbying governments, and organizing "offline" protests and events -- to ensure that the views and values of the world's people inform the decisions that affect us all.Any questions or concerns please message us on our contact us form: https://avaazhelp.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

I am a longtime supporter of Avaaz. In this world of genocide, war gloat, trillionaire oligarchy, and other heinous human behavior. Avaaz is a bright lite. support them if you can, you'll sleep better. SW

The news that two people who happened to be in love ( wendy & diana) have had all charges against them dropped by the courts in Uganda shows that people power really is a genuine concept and not just an overworked cliche Avaaz time and time again show that they can act on behalf of individuals and organisations anywhere in the world who have been persecuted by powerful companies and even governments simply for having a different ( and usually more genuine) outlook on life Avaaz deserve all the support and backing that mankind can possibly offer many thanks to them Gary Higgins Liverpool

An amazing organisation that gives voice to the voiceless, defends human rights, fights the climate crisis and stands up to authoritarianism. Proud to support their humanitarian work.

I love how Avaaz use the power of the people to change the world for a better place. I am so grateful that I get to be part of it - either to sign petitions, help fund specific issues that I care about or support the organisation in general. Avaaz is an organisation with a big heart who cares about important issues!

I supported their important work for a long time. I donated on monthly basis. But because of changing circumstances in my life I asked by mail to stop the automatic donations. I got a quick answer , that was very friendly and accurate. Donation was stopped immidiatly.

Avaaz has been constant, reliable, motivating and moving mountains, one grain of sand at a time with beautiful dedication to values of a connected human species that does good and rights wrongs and gets us informed and mobilized where it MATTERS. Thank you for a few decades of this already!? you and I can make a difference by joining hands and raising our voices together.

Avaaz is one of the most amazing Non-profits. They do change things, their constant work on every field of human rights corrects, many times, injustice. They need all possible support to keep up their amazing work. I've known Avaaz for many years now.
