Avaaz is a global web movement to bring people-powered politics to decision-making everywhere. Avaaz—meaning "voice" in several European, Middle Eastern and Asian languages—launched in 2007 with a simple democratic mission: organize citizens of all nations to close the gap between the world we have and the world most people everywhere want. The Avaaz community campaigns in 17 languages, served by a core team on 6 continents and thousands of volunteers. We take action -- signing petitions, funding media campaigns and direct actions, emailing, calling and lobbying governments, and organizing "offline" protests and events -- to ensure that the views and values of the world's people inform the decisions that affect us all.Any questions or concerns please message us on our contact us form: https://avaazhelp.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

I am impressed by the enthusiasm and practical work of the Avaaz team. In addition, their communication with their supporters is admirable - one knows where the money goes. Although I cannot necessarily move and shake in an international context, I can support Avaaz, who often manages just that: effective, precise and clear.

Jullie zijn supergoed bezig! Respect! Als ik lees wat jullie voor elkaar krijgen in update e-mails weet ik dat het goed is om jullie te steunen. Ga zo door, één van de mooiste maatschappelijke bewegingen van de wereld.

Avaaz is always on top of issues that the general public should know about. They have strong principles regarding human rights, democracy and sustainability, that I support.

Goede doelen. Heldere kijk op de problemen. Oogt betrouwbaar. Staan voor hun zaak.

Great to be part of Avaaz. I fully support and appreciate the range of causes. I would dearly love to see Avaaz with a UK not just US base, and for you to be a registered charity here…. Thanks to all!
