Unmatched Technique & True Artistry — Capturing What Matters Most "I came to Augis looking for a top-tier artist to do a photorealistic portrait of my dog, Brixton, who passed away a couple of years ago and meant the world to me. I also wanted to start a new Japanese-style sleeve. Seeing Augis's portfolio, I knew his technique was far superior to anyone else's, and he proved it from day one. The initial consultation process was great; he listened closely to what I wanted and mapped out the perfect game plan. During our first session, I stood up halfway through to look in the mirror, and it instantly brought tears to my eyes. He captured Brixton’s look so perfectly—it meant everything to me. Augis is an absolute powerhouse. He works incredibly hard, stays focused, and pushes straight through the entire session with ultimate professionalism. We are two sessions in with more to go, and I cannot wait to see how the rest of this sleeve develops. If you are looking for flawless photorealism and an artist who executes with perfection, Augis is absolutely your guy."

Augis is a phenomenal artist! Super easy to work with and very punctual on his communications! I gave him a tough cover up project and he delivered results beyond my expectations! I had a great experience with him and can’t wait for round 2! Highly recommend Augis!!!

Augis isn’t just a phenomenal tattoo artist, he’s also one of the easiest artists to sit with for 6+ hours. He is great to collaborate with on what you’re designing and he always makes sure you’re comfortable with your selections. 10/10 cannot recommend enough.

Extremely knowledgeable and talented. My piece came out perfectly. I highly recommend Augis!

Augis used both his incredible talent and his knowledge to create an amazing representation of my thoughts. The work is far more impressive than I anticipated. Augis was professional, informative and an all around cool individual! Thank you, kindly, Augis!

Augis is a talented all around artist! Saw his ad for artwork in Chicago and I knew he was the right artist for my full sleeve! I reached out to him and in no time he began working on my vision. Together we shared ideas on what I wanted. Piece by piece he made it come together beautifully!!! He’s a great person to know and I’d consider him “thee” best for photo realism in Chicago! Not only is he a great tattoo artist, he can also paint and draw like no one I’ve seen before. The whole process with Augis is a great experience. I have plans to complete my entire back with him as well as a full cover up on my other arm! There isn’t a day where someone isn’t complimenting me on the work Augis has done! People also notice the similarity in detail between my girlfriends (which he also did) tattoos and mine. If you’re thinking about getting work done just do it. Book the deposit and start your journey with him! I can only rate him 5 stars on here but if I could rate him 50 stars I would!!!

I’ve gotten many tattoos. Only part I don’t have is my stomach. I’ve had experiences with several artists. Some who I still stay in touch with to this day. I waited to do my elbow to wrist sleeves on both arms last. I knew they would be seen the most and I didn’t want to rush into anything. I walked into probably a dozen shops and contacted even more on ig. Some were rude or unwilling to simply listen. Others never even responded. I came across Augis art by chance and was drawn in. Yes, there are amazing artists out there. However, not always local or even in the country. Travel is not an option for me due to work. So I wanted to find the best in my area in the style I was looking for. Sometimes it seems like you can only find them by luck. What I really appreciated was something only someone who is heavily tattooed may notice. He’s responsive to my messages. We set up a zoom call to discuss my ideas before hand. Willing to allow me to bounce ideas off of him prior to my next appointment . I see far too often people who get an artist who just says yes. When he works, he is strictly dedicated to the project. You’re his sole focus. He wasn’t stepping away for anything. I’ve had artists take numerous breaks/meeting with other clients while working on me making me feel like my 6 hour session was really only 4. We will be wrapping up both my sleeves next week. His work is great but there’s a lot more that this artists offers than just his skill and for that I would highly recommend. Thanks for your work brother.

I have been working with Augis for two years since November 2024, we have finished a full gothic themed sleeve, a half sleeve and currently in the process of a full back piece! A few years ago I was researching artists and his profile kept popping up, I was drawn to his style and work. It was also a huge plus that a phenomenal artist was located right near downtown Chicago, I live 6 hours away in Minnesota. I have driven, taken a flight there or the train many many times, I keep continuously coming back because his work is absolutely worth it! I appreciate his input and how honest and straightforward he is as far as what he knows will flow with the body & what will last long-term! My boyfriend also gets tattooed from him and it’s so awesome when people in public recognize that the art we have on our bodies is by the same artist!! Definitely recommend Augis to anyone who wants lifelong beautiful art on the bodies with intention and flow, as a client someone who is willing to trust the process and know that good things don’t happen overnight, they take time but it is so worth it in the end!! Thanks Augis, Anna A
