AtReef TherapyAtReef Therapy is a private practice specializing in couples therapy in Cambridge for high-achieving professionals and committed partners who want more than surface-level advice. Led by Ehsan Shabahang, AtReef Therapy helps couples improve communication, rebuild trust, deepen emotional connection, and create lasting change in their relationship. Many couples do not struggle because they lack love. They struggle because they were never taught how relationships actually work. High-achieving people are especially vulnerable to this. The same intelligence, discipline, and drive that support career success can create distance, defensiveness, and miscommunication at home. AtReef Therapy was built to help couples break these patterns with a practical, structured, and highly personalized approach. Our work draws from leading evidence-based methods, including Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic insight, and family systems approaches. Therapy is active, warm, collaborative, and focused on real-world results. We help couples with frequent conflict, communication problems, emotional disconnection, intimacy concerns, trust issues, premarital counseling, family stress, and major life transitions. We also offer individual therapy for clients working through anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges.Couples therapy can be helpful at any stage of a committed relationship. While some people allow life’s problems to get them down, optimistic people remind you that bad times are only temporary. They advise ways to practice positivity, and with a sunny outlook on life, their energy is wildly infectious.your products was extremely helpful and it was my pleasure working with you and your team.
