I wanted to order a kids cake featured…
I wanted to order a kids cake featured on the website. Lighting McQueen, from Cars. I went into the shop and asked to order this cake. The assistant looked at me and said "what" I repeated what I wanted but she didn't know what I was referring to. I pulled up a picture of the cake from their website to show her. She then went and pulled up the same cake and asked "this one". I said yes that's the one. She then said "what to you want". I looked at her taken aback by her lack of politeness and customer care. She then said "when do you want it". I left the shop without placing the order. I've previously ordered from this shop without any issues and was happy with the service and quality. This time the assistant made no effort to even talk to me in full sentences or try and help in any way. I ended up getting the same cake from stevenage where the gentleman serving was polite and helpful.
