Annie SelkeReviews of annieselke.com

Will never ever order from this company again. My large rug came in a small bag with a very wrinkled rug inside . The wrinkles never came out! I was told it could be replaced for 95 dollars or send it back for a refund at my expense! Please please do not use this scam. I really should give them any stars !! Of a company! Rebecca White

Bad quality rug. Bad customer service. Enormous return fees. Do not buy.

Really poor customer service in that they charge $25 for every return, PLUS return postage. I won't ever order from them again.

I ordered a light weight quilt and shams and realized I had ordered the wrong color and contacted them immediately to change the color but they could not do it and said I could return it. I then reordered the color I wanted. The first one arrived and the box it came in was a little bit damaged. The second one came and it was a sturdy box. The quilt and 2 shams cost $433 which is steep and the quality was inferior. It looked lavish and beautiful on line but not so in person. I emailed that I wanted to return them and put in the same box with all info included. Big mistake because it has been since July 4th that I have been dealing with this issue and trying to get my money back. They only returned $408 each instead of the full amount. We have been going around and around because they had to do research to find the other quilt. They returned my money finally today so it has been going on for almost a month and even though they were all in one box and all paperwork included they cannot confirm that it was received. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else and buy your bed linens. Do not do business with this company. They are not a customer oriented company.

Annie Selke customer service is just awful. It is so frustrating to call them. Also their return policy is so expensive, the charge to return was half of the item so I chose to keep it. I will not be shopping with them in the future.

One day after receiving two pillow shams I attempted to return them. Once I got to section to trigger return I was hit with a $18.00 service fee plus shipping. The fee and shipping was more than cost of goods. WHAT A SHAM AND DISGRACE!!! I will donate them to charity.

I bought an ottoman from them on a last chance sale. Waited about a week and inquired about shipping. Was told it was ‘custom’ and would be 4-5 weeks to ship. Ok. 3 weeks later get shipping notification, no way to hold or request delay (wasn’t there to receive item) I spoke to many people (note they offshore their support which is horrible). Finally connected to US rep but she was rude, not helpful and promised to help but didn’t. Thank god our Local FedEx office is helpful and they kept item for me. The ottoman is pretty but honestly it’s not made that well. For $1000 it should be sturdy and well constructed- this is not. Poor experience overall- would not order anything from them again that I can’t return.

I ordered 3 rugs which seemed to ship out very quickly (10/18). However, Fedex apparently created duplicate labels, and eventually told me via email that the package was lost. When presenting Annie Selke with this information, literally NO ONE on their out of country customer service team was able to assist to either ship a new package, process a refund, talk to the shipper, or check to see if the package had in fact been returned to the warehouse. I have not yet received resolution on this fairly expensive purchase and am on the fence as to whether I should call my CC company and place a stop payment for suspicion of scam. I am giving Annie Selke until this Thursday to get their act together... Update: 10/30 Annie Selkie FINALLY "escalated" this to a representative who was able to speak with FEDEX and eventually placed a new order to me. It does appear that FEDEX is the main culprit here, but customer service could also have been smoother. I have not received the replacement yet, but will update this when I do. Right now I am upgrading this to 3 stars. Update: Nov 3. Received all rugs in good condition. Happy ending = 5 stars in my book.
