The American Massage Therapy Association is the largest non-profit, professional association serving massage therapists, massage students and massage schools. We are guided by a volunteer national Board of Directors who sets the course for the association. As a member-driven organization, we are constantly in conversation with our members through surveys, phone calls, emails and social media to understand the diverse needs of all of our members and their hopes for the profession. We advocate for the issues important to massage therapists across the country at the federal, state and local levels of government. We promote the health benefits of massage to the public, the health care community and other important groups. AMTA provides its members with the strongest benefits in the massage therapy profession and has been serving our community for over 75 years.

Great service and easy to follow instructions. The staff were very helpful to answer all my inquiries and very professional. I love that AMTA includes Dual Certification I. e. Yoga Instructors. It saves me money and I am able to provide more services to my clients. Joining AMTA has a lot of benefits and the practice doesn't just limit me to massages. Looking forward to discover the rest of my benefits along the way...

Knowledgeable and kind. The AMTA agent I spoke with was both supportive and knew the answers to my questions. It was altogether a pleasant experience.
