Would not process refund for good never delivered to customer. Attempted to reach out to them numerous times with no updates or response. Buyer beware, you're just handing your money over to swindlers.

Altered way is a scam company that closes down when there's too many complaints and then reinvents itself as another company later. Now they're selling shoes. They ruined Christmas last year for my child and I wish there was a way to shut down these scummy individuals.

I ordered 2 blankets, & only received 1. They were ordered at the same time, same tracking number..the email I received says both were delivered. I was here when the mail carrier made the delivery. I spoke to USPS, and they said this wasn't an error on their part, & to contact the company. I've sent 2 emails, tagged the company on their Facebook post about my order..nothing. the blanket I'm missing is $85, and I am really upset. I better receive the blanket soon, or I'm going to have to contact my bank because I'm not getting scammed. Of course there's no phone number to call for customer service. This is very disappointing.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I ordered from a Facebook ad and have learned my lesson. I placed an order on 12/3/22 for a blanket. It took eight days to ship out, but it did arrive in time for Christmas as promised, on 12/13/22. It was much smaller than I realized, which is my fault. I immediately contacted them for a return, which required a “support ticket” be opened, and that I would receive more information later. I then received a notification that my support ticket was closed, so I opened another ticket, and received another notification that it was closed. After a week I sent an email notifying the company that I would be fraud filing a claim with my credit card company if they didn’t respond with return information. Miraculously I received a shipping label that day, and I mailed it back with tracking. Altered Way emailed me on 12/28/22 that they received my return and would “process it” within 5-7 days. After 9 days I sent a follow-up email, and still have not received a response, after 12 days. I’m filing a fraud claim with my credit card company.

Hi Erin, I'm sorry you weren't satisfied with your blanket, we do make sure to inform our customers of our policies on each page of our site, the order confirmation page as well as the order confirmation email and per that information our 30"x40" blankets are only eligible for a store credit return. We also told you upon having USPS scan your return in to reach back out to us so we could get your return processed and your gift card code issued and expedite the process. Since that wasn't done, your return had to go through our normal returns team and our returns are processed in the order in which they are received. As you did submit a PayPal case we did also update them with the information that was requested including our policy information and the conversations between our orders team and you. We also issued your gift card code prior to inspecting your return which is not policy however to expedite the process we went ahead and did that as a courtesy. That code was given to them as well.
Absolutely amazing experience with Altered Way. I ordered five blankets and one custom one with some art my son drew and they all turned out amazing! I go the cheaper material and was shocked how soft and nice they all turned out. Sarah from the customer service team really set my mind at ease, the photo of my sons drawing i had wasnt the best quality and somehow they were able to turn it into a 60 inch blanket and it looks crystal clear! Will definitely be ordering more for my pokemon obsessed nieces and nephews for Christmas. Thank you so much!

The blankets I received are smaller than visual. They were pretty much baby bed blankets. I returned for refund only to receive site credit. Not very happy customer. The blankets did look very nice. Just disappointed in size. The next size up is double than what I paid for smaller blanket. I purchased two. So instead of paying around 60$ to up size I am looking at 120$. Had I known that I probably would not have ordered at all. They really need to advertise that the smallest blanket is crib size. I was told they only offer store credit for the smaller blankets. I guess you only get your money back if your order the bigger sizes. Not very happy.

Hi Ana, we definitely want to thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I’ll go ahead and address your situation here. As your message states, we do offer returns on all items purchased on our site with our smallest size being eligible for a store credit return (and our refund/return policy is made visible on every page of our site so customers are able to view that prior to completing their purchase). I took a look at your order and yes, it does show you ordered our 30 inch by 40 inch blankets, which is our smallest and most inexpensive blanket we offer. While we definitely understand that sometimes measurements alone aren’t enough for customers to accurately visualize what size something will end up being, we have a sizing guide on every single product page that lets customers see the sizes as well as a detailed description of each size and it’s intended uses to further shed light on the sizing and ensure the size the customer is selecting is the size that will best fit their needs in the end. I apologize if this wasn’t made clear through your buying journey on our site and I will speak with our customer services team that is handling your case.
After receiving a very small blanket 30x40 I was disappointed and left a bad review. Then I ordered the largest one they have with the 20% coupon they sent me. The owner then reached out to return the smaller blanket and change the price of the larger blanket to just the difference!! I told her not to worry about it, I would just gift the smaller one but it was very cool she offered. The quality of these blankets are so nice! The print is sharp and clean!! This is the company to go with for Pokémon blankets for sure!!
