Hi Norm, We are sorry your recent experience left you feeling this way. Your veterinarian was unable to approve the prescription because your pet was due for an exam. While we understand you attempted to email the prescription to us directly, pharmacy regulations require that we receive the prescription either from the veterinarian or as an original mailed prescription. We did try reaching out and left a message, as we’d really appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly and help clarify the situation. I submitted a request for Trifexis several weeks before I needed for my dog. No fax or email was presented to my veterinarian. At this point in time, my dog was overdue for her monthly medication and I had to cancel it. My former vet would not work with this company either due to lack of communication as well. I do not recommend this company.

We have auto delivery every 2 wks for 1 of 2 meds. I get an email telling me when it will be shipped (the same day I've requested) yet they ship a few days early *every time*. When I've asked why this happens I've been told they ship a few days ahead. Why? What's the purpose of even having an auto delivery date if it's not being adhered to?

AutoShip orders may generate and ship a few days in advance to allow enough time for processing and, if needed, obtaining approval from your veterinarian. The selected date is intended to align more closely with when the order is received, rather than the exact ship date. If you would like to make any adjustments to your AutoShip, please give us a call to 877-500-9944. We'd be more than happy to help you find a schedule that works best.
I’ve been using Allivet for years!! The auto ship is very convenient. They notify you when your order is about to ship. The customer service is top notch, and the prices are great. I’m very happy with them..🐾🐾🐾🐾

Great prices... terribly convoluted ordering, processing and shipping. I signed up because of the fantastic pricing, but I have not ever received an order on time. I don't know what the problem is, but their whole process for requesting, receiving, and reviewing prescriptions is completely broken. Might as well be using smoke signals. Their promise of quick shipping in 1-3 business days? Forget it. Every order I've placed has been delayed. Every time I've ordered from Allivet, I've needed to place an emergency order with expedited shipping from somewhere else in order to get what I need in time. By the time you've called them, called your vet, ask your vet to call them, asked them to call your vet, fax, check to see if the fax got there, check to see if the fax got lost, re-faxed, called again... your pet might be dead. Auto-ship is a joke, especially if you are trying to order a bunch of meds to be shipped together. The aforementioned approval and processing process screws that up. I'm done. Deactivated my account.

Allivet said my order was delivered. It was but the prescription med for my dog was not in the box. I have emailed Allivet several times and still no response and no separate box ever delivered for my dog's pain meds which he needs asap. They have the prescription i mailed in so where is my doggie's meds?
