The aligners stopped fitting at step 14. Their answer was a $675 invoice.
I want to be fair to ALIGNERCO, because the first half of my experience was good. Impressions were accepted, the 3D projection looked right, and their team reviewed my photos and confirmed the fit at steps 1 and 3. I wore every step 8–10 hours a night for 10 days, exactly as instructed. No dental work, no skipped steps. Around step 10 of 20, the lower aligners started drifting off my front teeth. By step 14 there was a visible gap and the tray simply didn’t seat. I reported it immediately with photos (May 2026) and asked the obvious question: what went wrong, and how do we fix it? Five months, a dozen emails, and multiple rounds of “please send photos from different angles” later, here is the answer I received: a quote for $725 for a “new treatment plan,” discounted to $675 “as a gesture of goodwill.” That package includes an impression kit, a new plan, all aligners, and retainers, which is exactly what my original $907 purchase included. Nobody has explained why the first plan failed. Nobody has said I did anything wrong. And nobody will tell me the name of the licensed dentist who approved my plan, which ALIGNERCO advertises as a core part of its service. So the proposition is this: if you follow their protocol and their plan stops working two-thirds of the way through, you pay for it again. Their own published policy caps a post-treatment refinement at $250. A mid-treatment failure, reported the day it happened, apparently costs $675. If you’re considering ALIGNERCO, my honest advice: the price is attractive and the early process is smooth. Before you buy, ask them in writing what happens if the aligners stop tracking mid-treatment through no fault of yours, and get the answer in writing. I wish I had.
