Over $2000 to renew and the online editor has been having "technical problems" for weeks. No one answers emails, phone calls, or the online chat. Their solution is to work offline and then import the completed document, but then it won't allow digital signatures. At this point I feel like this product has been abandoned and they are just letting it die. I'd rather hand write a 50-page contract than give them another dime. TERRIBLE BUSINESS AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AIA Contract Documents has made my project easier to push through. I feel like my contract is as ironclad as possible. I was concerned about their new platform, but Every time we reach support they have been super helpful in navigating it. They have made my job easier.

The customer service for AIA documents has been bad since I first had to start using the program eight years ago. The updated Catina version is not intuitive, and the service is still abysmal. The AI is a joke, when you finally get turfed to a human no human shows up, and then you have to call and spend hours on the phone. At a minimum AIA needs to stop telling customers that it values their time. It does not. Update: I did get a call from AIA, and they appear to be sincerely listening to customers and trying to add support personnel and to make the program more user friendly.

AIA Contract Documents are an extremely valuable professional resource. But since AIA’s intellectual property was licensed to an outside entity the expense of using the documents has increased dramatically while IMO the value of the service has declined. The current subscription model and digital interface are expensive and a bit Kafkaesque, seemingly designed to extract maximum expenditure from customers while requiring minimal investment in the user experience. What was once a relatively straightforward resource is now cumbersome, frustrating, and disproportionately costly to use. Contractors and owners have an especially difficult time with it. Perhaps this is simply business. But it is particularly disappointing because AIA Contracts used to feel like a resource provided by the AIA for the benefit of the profession. The underlying documents remain valuable but the increasingly expensive commercial apparatus surrounding access to them does not. Most frustratingly, I have seen very little discernible added value to justify the substantial increase in cost and complexity. EDIT: Had to downgrade to one star due to the fact that their customer service line still (for years) auto-hangs-up on all single use technical support calls and has a voicemail saying that the customer service is closed during all business hours. Also immediately after writing this review I was called over and over by a sales rep attempting to land an annual subscription.

The configuration screen for set up doesn't have the auto fill a option any more. I have to revisit the drop down or fight ti fill it in

They were able to enter every field and carry it through to the draft as expected, so we have not been able to reproduce what you are seeing. That tells us something specific to your workflow or setup is getting in the way, and we want to find it. Its important to have employees that care about the company and what they do - thats how companies are successful. They definitely check those boxes and are awesome to work with.
