My first contact Advocate Life Group was with Athan Poullas and we are still in regular contact today. The reason I opened and account with Athan was that I was tired of being Nickle & Dimed to death from my former group/advisor-company whom I did business for years. Their advisors only contacted me about once a year and each time it was a new advisor because the prior advisors left the company. Athan is very professional while still being personal, friendly and punctual. I don't ever anticipate switching advisors again.

I had my iul policy structured wrong when I first started my policy. Was really just thinking I should just close my policy. Really hesitant with other agents I would talk to about it , until a got in contact with Athan. He was really knowledgeable and took the time to explain and answer any questions I had , even if he has to explain twice to me. Now Athan has my policy structure correctly and I really appreciate all the help and patience he’s had with me.

He genuinely cares and is not in it for the money. He was awesome in my fight with Merrill to obtain MY money and move it where I wanted it to be. He went above and beyond helping me.

We first came in contact with Athen 7 years ago. He came to our home with valuable information about veterans benefits, (as my husband is a USMC disabled veteran)and affordable insurance coverage for our needs. Today, his expertise continues to excel. We got life insurance coverage for myself that was easy, affordable and informative to digest. His kindness and patience are top!.This is the guy who serves and gives back. So glad our paths have crossed at such a time as this.
