Found my biological mother thanks to this site. It was years after I made my profile (and honestly forgot about it, because I didn't want to pay to search for people). However, I'm thankful she paid because she found me right after making her profile! She messaged me, found my biological father on Facebook, and now I have a whole second family, including 6 siblings.

Adopted.com helped us get the correct surname as for 7 years we had been given the wrong one and had been searching the wrong one. Adopted.com put us on the right track and we are greatful for that. i hope everyone else finds who they are trying to track and get a hold of. thanks again MattyandKat

Well, I just read through the reviews and discovered that in the US and Canada they only pay $10 a month for this service. I'm in the UK and paying just under £15 per month. That works out as twice as much. That's just not fair. Also, I did cancel a while back. Then I got an email saying I had loads of matches but had to resubscribe to see them. I did that and none of the matches, well, matched. The weird thing is, I've been subscribed again for some time now and haven't had any emails about matches. I only seem to get them when I'm not subscribed. *Edit* Adopted.com reached out to me very quickly after I left this mediocre review. They were quite lovely and very helpful. They explained that, if a member is paying less, then they have a concession. I have, therefore, upped the stars on my review x

I have been trying for over 2 months to cancel and keep being charged. When I try to log into support my account is not found. I have reset the password twice. Would really really like to resolve this asap. ***Updated*** They refunded me my charges which was greatly appreciated. Biggest issue apparently was having 2 emails and not remembering which one I had used. If they had sent the reminder email with the email address in the body of it, that would have helped tremendously. Or only have 1 email to use not 2. I am changing my review since I received this help.

Update: My previous review was 1 star based on what I felt to be misleading search results. I still feel the matchmaking system is misleading as a profile can be created with vague information, leading you to believe you have perfect matches waiting while in reality they are far less than that. The reason I am changing my review however is that recently the site owner replied to a message I had sent, outlining my disappointment, and issued me a full refund. I certainly cannot claim an individual that chooses to provide me a refund without any cajoling or threats of action to be anything less than honorable, and as such I am obligated to update my feedback to reflect this. Based on this I can only conclude Adopted.com is genuinely interested in providing value to their clients and the reality is some individuals simply will not have luck in this.
