A Better GiftA Better Gift is a Private Request Network — a private fundraising platform built for friends and family. Unlike public crowdfunding sites that broadcast personal struggles to the internet, A Better Gift lets you privately ask the people who already care about you for financial help, with simplicity and dignity.Whether you're facing unexpected medical bills, car repairs, rent shortfalls, funeral costs, or other life expenses, A Better Gift gives you a private space to share your situation with trusted contacts and receive direct support. You create a private request, share the link only with the people you choose, and funds go directly to your bank account. No public page. No strangers. No charity stigma.Founded on the belief that the people who want to help you already exist — and that asking for help shouldn't require broadcasting your story to the world — A Better Gift is the modern, private alternative to public crowdfunding for real-life expenses. Recipients keep 100% of every contribution.Available in the United States. Payments are processed securely through Stripe, our established payment partner, and routed directly to recipients. Your personal information stays between you and the people you choose to share it with.

My experience was great because it turned a crisis into a really good situation. I had a large medical bill and created a request and sent it to friends and relatives I haven’t been in touch with for years. They not only helped me financially but we have reconnected which is better than I could have dreamed.
