Wild Idea Buffalo is unlike any other meat company. We began with a vision of actually improving the eco-system of the Great Plains. Our buffalo are raised on the wide open spaces of South Dakota where they eat only the native grasses beneath their feet. They spend their whole lives roaming freely on thousands of acres, and never see a feedlot or slaughterhouse. The result is better lives for the bison, the restoration of over 100,000 acres of the prairie, and sweet, delicious red meat that is actually good for you. Not such a wild idea after all!

The selection of products on the site was second to none. The ordering was smooth and the delivery was excellent. I would like more options with the burgers- I hate splitting frozen burgers and the paper mess individually-wrapped 1/3 lbs would be nice. That's how I buy them in the store. Anyway can't wait to try the rest of the products.

I did not care for the Buffalo steak strips or the snack sticks. The Buffalo weiners were delicious & I will order weiners again! I haven't tried the Kippered Biltong or the Bier Bratwurst...nor the ground Buffalo. I buy ground Buffalo at Fred Meyers when it is available. Your ground Buffalo looks better than the ground meat I buy at FM. Ask me again a few weeks....after I try other products.

We thoroughly enjoyed the ground buffalo, steaks and the roast so gave 4 stars to our review. Our only negative would be the bacon...it was totally stringy, chewy and impossible to eat even though we followed the directions - we ended up throwing out the remainder of that package. Again, we loved all the other items in our package.

Have given some of my order to friends, so far they are well pleased with the meat. Flavorful, rich, and long lasting. My first work was with a t-bone. Cooked it longer than recommended. still juicy and wonderful. (did a broiling) Looking forward to more experimentation.

Hi: You have a great product. I have tried other bison producers and your product is leaner, juicier and has a superior flavor. Your delivery turnaround is from the stone ages and your web site is unclear on when to expect delivery. Tom

Tom, Thank you for letting us know your concerns! We are currently working on a new shipping tool that will make the shipping transit time and delivery dates much more clear! Again, we greatly appreciate your feedback and hope to hear what you think of the new process should you decide to order again! Very Best- The WIB Crew
I love Wild Idea, and their products and service. One suggestion. I ordered a gift card for the first time this Christmas. it was for my son. Seems odd that I couldn't have the card emailed directly to his email. I called and was assured that the gift card would be emailed to me, and then I could forward it to my son.(which is what I did) But it would be better for the customer if this were a seamless 1-step process, like it is with other companies. Thank you.

Lois- Thank you so much for your order, support and sharing us with your loved ones! This is a great suggestion and we agree with you that eliminating that extra step would be more efficient. I will be looking into this to see how we can make it happen. Thanks again for the feedback and have a great 2015! -The WIB Crew
We have given the roast as a gift. The recipients have not tried it as yet as they have been out of town. The order process was easy but postage seemed a bit expensive. Overall, I am quite pleased.
