Wild Idea Buffalo is unlike any other meat company. We began with a vision of actually improving the eco-system of the Great Plains. Our buffalo are raised on the wide open spaces of South Dakota where they eat only the native grasses beneath their feet. They spend their whole lives roaming freely on thousands of acres, and never see a feedlot or slaughterhouse. The result is better lives for the bison, the restoration of over 100,000 acres of the prairie, and sweet, delicious red meat that is actually good for you. Not such a wild idea after all!

From this day forward I will not order anything online. If I want bison meat I will go to a local purveyor. This has been so stressful for a stage 4 prostate cancer patient. Not just this company but any company online. This company was understanding with my problem but as I said before never online shopping again.

Very good product, I enjoy the taste and how it is packaged, the cost if a bit high, $136 for 8lbs of meat and a book minus the book the cost came to $12 a lb. seems a bit on the high side to me when 1/4 of the cost was hamburger and (3) 8 ounce steaks, the cost is even giving a generous cost for the book which I think retail for 16$. It will not stop me from buying for health and the taste I will just not buy as much as I would like to
