I got instant answers, a response from Evan in chat in less than a minute. It is still not clear what occurred to cause my licenses to suddenly report themselves to be invalid and the free version to be installed. (I re-installed upon discovering tha backups were failing and that my licenses were not working, but the free version arrived before.) Evan was quick and professional and got me going again.

Had a major disk failure and tried to get reset with a new drive. Several clone programs failed to get me back up and running. I got a new version of EaseUS Disk Copy and my lifetime license failed to activate it. Called EaseUS and they reset license they got it to activate.
