Hi Mike and Clara, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're genuinely sorry the Jewelry Case didn't meet your expectations, and we want to address your concerns directly. On product details: we hear you, and we take description accuracy seriously. Feedback like yours helps us identify where we can be clearer, and we will review the listing to ensure dimensions and interior layout are fully transparent. On recycled leather: we understand this material can surprise customers who are expecting traditional leather. We publish a full blog post explaining exactly what recycled leather is (leather fibers and natural binders, no synthetic plastics) and why we chose it as a more sustainable alternative. We'll continue to make that information more prominent on product pages. On the restocking fee: we do publish our return policy, including applicable fees, on our website, but we recognize that doesn't make it feel any less frustrating when it's unexpected. We're sorry the experience felt unsupportive. On our reviews: our on-site reviews are verified and powered by Stamped.io, a third-party review platform. We have thousands of authenticated customer reviews and do not curate or filter them. We'd encourage anyone to look closely; the good and the critical are both there. If we can do anything else to make this right, please reach out directly to [email protected]. One of our co-founders reads every email that comes in. Thank you again for the honest feedback; it genuinely helps us improve.

Thank you for the honest comparison, and we completely understand the question. At first glance, clear bags can look nearly identical, and we know $100 is a real difference that deserves a real explanation. The distinction isn't visible from the outside. It's in the material and the making. Most clear bags, including many sold on Amazon, are made from PVC, a plastic that yellows over time, carries health concerns (BPA, phthalates, lead), and isn't biodegradable. Our bags are made from TPU, a fundamentally different material that stays buttery soft, is easy to refresh to like-new clarity, and is FDA-certified, BPA-free, and biodegradable when composted. Beyond the material, our bags are produced in small batches with a level of construction and quality control that mass-market manufacturing simply doesn't prioritize. That combination of material integrity and craftsmanship is what we're proud of, and what our customers consistently tell us they notice over time. We also understand that for some people, those distinctions aren't worth the price difference. We'd rather someone make an informed choice than feel like they overpaid. We're sorry the product didn't win you over, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. If you ever have questions about what sets our materials apart, we're always happy to talk through it at [email protected].

This genuinely made our day. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this, especially knowing you don't do it often. Your experience is exactly what we set out to create. We hear so often from customers who, like you, hesitated on the price and then couldn't believe the difference when the product arrived. The fact that you waited months to write this review, put it through real travel, and can confirm it still looks brand new means everything to us. That's the whole point. And we love that you mentioned the modular travel rollup idea. We love that idea. We're so glad you found us, and we hope to keep earning your trust with every order. Thank you for preaching about Truffle!
