The Mambo Guild is an online school for Salsa. We exist to solve a problem every dancer knows: good instruction is hard to find, lessons are easy to miss, and most online courses just throw videos at you with no real path forward. We strive to do it the best way possible. The Guild is a structured curriculum of over 500 lessons, organized as a visual Skill Tree that unlocks as you progress. You start exactly where you are, whether that is your very first basic or refining advanced shines, and every module builds on the last. We cover footwork, body movement, musicality, timing, and the history of the dance, all taught in high-quality video with tools to slow down, speed up, loop, and mirror yourself dancing next to the instructor so you can actually learn it at home.Founded by Pavle Popovic, a two-time European Champion certified in Learning Experience Design, the Guild is built on how people genuinely learn to move, not just on choreography. Around the lessons sits a global community of dancers at every level.Wherever you are in the world, you get a real Salsa school in your pocket. New members can try the full curriculum free for seven days.

After 12 years of dancing, the fact that you have stuck with the Guild for months means the world to me. Being able to log in for 15 minutes, drill a block of shines, and still walk away having learned something is exactly what I was going for.

As a beginner dancer, I have found The Mambo Guild provides high quality and well-structured dance lessons that are easy to follow and let me learn at my own pace. In addition to the comprehensive catalog of Mambo / On2 footwork and body movement instruction that covers it all from absolute beginner steps through to advanced level moves, there is a wealth of useful information presented on Salsa history and how to maximize your learning efficiency. Separate choreography classes are available for beginners, intermediate and advanced dancers as well that take the footwork and the moves taught in the main courses and turn them into shines that can be used on the dance floor. The website provides all the tools you need to practice efficiently as well, with built in looping and speed controls for the video lesson playback, as well as closed captioning in a multitude of languages. They have even added a split screen option that lets you use your phone or web cam to show yourself alongside the instructor if you don't have a mirror. For me, the speed control and the looping are must-haves, and on other online dance instruction sites I have had to use third party apps to provide that functionality. I absolutely recommend The Mambo Guild if you are looking for easy-to-follow Mambo & On2 Salsa instruction. New courses and choreos are added frequently, so there is always something more to learn.

The excellent detailed breakdown of body movement and steps .

Great site and a great teacher. The curriculum is put together in a very clear way that builds on the previous moves. This is done in a very clever gamified way that also keeps you very engaged. It's highly recommended not to skip any steps even if you might think you know the move. There's a good chance you'll pick up something. So if you're interested in learning proper mambo from a great teacher, this is definitely the site for you.

I LOVE MamboGuild !!!! Firstly the content is excellent - it gives the ability to isolate and learn steps separately ( and go back to them easily) so you can build your own shines - in addition to learning full routines. As an advanced dancer, I was struggling to really take my dance to the next level but this is great and content tailored at all levels. Also the site allows you to speed up or slow down the steps and see from different angles - as well as getting a summary/ tips/quiz etc to ensure the style is on point - it’s amazing - finally a way to break down the great stuff I see on YouTube or Insta - really there is no need to look anywhere else and I am totally hooked. Thank you !
