The Premiere Jewish Theatre in the US
After seeing multiple productions at Theater J, most recently "Eureka Day", I can say without hesitation that this is one of the greatest theatre companies in DC, and among the greatest theatre companies in the nation. Housed within the DC JCC, the theater company produces top quality professional productions that rival anything you will see in New York. While their focus is on Jewish culture, the show I most recently saw focused on a diverse group of parents, and I think anyone regardless of their background would enjoy the great plays they put on at Theater J.
