I'm sorry I cannot recommend this company. After purchasing their phone I sent it back and I understood being charged a restocking fee but they charged me over 150 or so because the new never used phone I returned was 'blemished' . I never used it! Felt very deceptive and I cannot recommend them. Beware

I really wanted to believe in the mission behind Techless, and at first, the Wisephone seemed like a great way to be more present with my five kids. But the reality? Frustrating and disappointing. They refused to allow Android Auto—even just for maps—meaning you’re stuck looking down at your phone while driving. Horribly unsafe. The phone itself is sluggish, constantly freezes, and never feels reliable. Then after only six months of light use, it completely stopped working. What’s worse is the customer service. Instead of standing behind their product, they’ve made the repair/replacement process difficult every step of the way. For a company built around “intentional living,” the product feels unfinished and the support feels indifferent. Save yourself the frustration and money—just lock down your current smartphone and skip this entirely.

Returned a phone I used for a day and was docked $45 and the restocking fee of $55. Totally get the restocking fee, but the surcharge for damage is ridiculous. UPDATE: They refunded me after I filed a claim with my credit card company. My emails were between Jay, Anthony, and Zazi. Zazi ended the dispute. Also, the customer service representative by the name of Anthony, during the "support," sent me a link to the song Saturn by SZA. Not sure why?

Couldn't hate this company enough. 6 customer service reps for over 6000 users. Never a direct call to a human, always a voicemail and a call back The navigation app doesnt function with car play. It is illegal to hold your phone and drive. Thank you people for nothing I was forced to convert my personal number to a physical sim card to use their services. Now my phone number is bricked and stuck on a sim card instead of the previous e-sim. I will never be able to use my personal number again with a phone that does not have a sim tray I literally hate this company. FOR Clarity: Your Wisephone device is a Samsung A15 with custom software. The A15 requires a physical sim card. I used Xfinity, a cell service bundled into my internet bill. You do not support xfinitiy despite being on the versizon network. So in order to use your phone i had to take my number (on an e sim) and port it over to a physical sim card to be compatible with the A15. Now that i have switched back to a real phone because i was unhappy with WisephoneOS, my original carrier cannot switch my number back to an e sim. I was forced to port it to another physical sim card provided by xfinity. This happened as a result of switching to WiseOS carrier service. It wasn't the case before i did that. So based on cause and effect, that would mean the cause of the problem was switching to WiseOS and the effect is that my personal phone number now needs to be on a physical sim card to function correctly. This isnt a user mistake, I tried porting my number 2x with two different xfinity reps over two 45 minute phone calls. Its bricked. thank you for the reply though.

The customer service experience and the return policy was not good. They charge a $25 restocking fee, which is fine. But they also charge a $55 "open box fee". What they don't tell you in advance is that to return the product, you have to provide them what's called an "IMEI number" in addition to the order number. Well, wouldn't you know it, you must open the box to find that "IMEI number". So even though I emailed back and forth before opening the box to ensure I avoided the open box fee, I was told I had to open the package to get that number. When the return was processed, they charged me for the "open box fee". I didn't want to open the box. The only reason I did is because they told me I had to so that I could give them this IMEI number. I don't know if this is intentionally deceptive but it sure seems like it. Not happy at all with this company and I would avoid doing business with them if I were you.

Right now I am very unimpressed with the customer service. It appears the phones are lost in the mail and they will not confirm that they will give me refund if I don't get them. My friend told me the customer service sucked, but I wanted the idea of getting rid of distractions. They even told me I had to follow up with fedex. As the receiver fedex won't give me more than what I can see online, that the package is essentially missing. They could have assured me they had my back but instead wanted to argue about everything. If you are even thinking of getting this phone don't do it, just take your iphone have your spouse take everything off and set a code so you cannot add it back, problem solved and Apple as way better customer service. They would have been like if you don't get it we will refund you or send you a replacement but wisephone refuses to put that in writing to reassure you that they got your back. At this point even if I get them and keep them I am only going to use it as a paper weight.

The "Request a Tool" (feature that should let you get certain apps approved) has been in "beta" for months now. I was under the impression if i got this phone i would be able to have essential apps if i really needed them by putting a ticket in through the tool drawer. At least that how its supposed to work but there have been no updates at all about when this feature may be available. I tried sending in an email to support and they just said i have to submit a ticket through the 'request a tool" feature smh... Seeing as its a pretty small company i doubt any work is being done of the this feature and they probably just forget about it. Meanwhile here i am without access to emails, paying for the phone's mandatory monthly subscription.

I purchased a WisePhone but decided not to use it. I followed the return procedures which required me to open the shipping box to enter the IMEI off the sealed tube. I did exactly this and then sent the unopened item back to them. I did not open the actual phone package at all. I was charged a full restocking fee. Jay from Wisephone LIED that I had opened the package. Called customer service line and got "cannot come to the phone right now." I am warning you do NOT buy a phone from this company. These are serious red flags (lying about return condition to charge an erroneous restocking fee), having no customer service line. This is a fly by night operation. Steer VERY clear. The long replies to complaints, don't trust them. It's the sort of thing a company does to appear responsive. Trust us when we say this company behaves in a shady and unacceptable way.
