StreamTranslate.live provides live captions and translated subtitles for broadcasters, with separate tools for written live chat and recorded-video subtitles. The official website is https://streamtranslate.live.For live captions, supply a supported audio input, start a caption session and add the overlay URL as a Browser Source in OBS Studio, Streamlabs or another compatible encoder. The Browser Source draws captions into the broadcast video. Audio input, Browser Source rendering and a working connection are still required. Caption timing and accuracy vary with the audio, language pair, connection and settings; rehearse the actual viewing output before broadcasting. Live captions support 65 target languages. The official Twitch caption extension is a separate viewer interface. The broadcaster must activate and link it and run an audio caption session before viewers can choose their caption language on an enabled channel. A Browser Source overlay and the Twitch extension are different from Twitch native player closed captions.Live-caption pricing: the Free Plan includes 3 active hours every month and requires a card; no payment unless you choose to upgrade. Stream Pass costs $12 for 12 active caption hours that can be used across sessions. Starter costs $14.99 per month for 25 hours, Pro costs $34.99 per month for 50 hours and two output languages, and Elite costs $149 per month for unlimited hours and two output languages. Check the website for plan conditions and applicable overages. The free desktop Chat Translator translates written incoming chat and unsent reply drafts. It does not translate the stream audio or send messages for you. Recorded-video translation is a separate upload, edit and export workflow supporting 60 languages and up to three subtitle tracks, with separate pricing. These products have different requirements and data handling; consult their guides and privacy notices.Product guides and current pricing: https://streamtranslate.live. Support: sup

i recently have been enjoying watching Fifa streamers who only speak in spanish dialect, so it’s amazing that i can still watch their gameplay while having live english translations on the screen, love it.

Finally..great concept and execution. I dont think the other reviewer got the concept (or even read the pricing page) but the creator's explanation was on point. Thanks.

Response from StreamTranslate· Jul 19, 2026
Hi, thanks for sharing your experience. Our team routinely reaches out to creators who we think may be a good fit to work with. Those emails are intended to gauge interest in potential collaborations, but the review process is manual and, unfortunately, we aren't able to move forward with everyone who responds. If you didn't receive a follow-up, it simply means we decided not to proceed. We apologize if that came across as being ignored. We also want to clarify some information about our pricing. Our translation plans do not cost $120/month with limited transcription. Our current pricing starts at $9.99 for a timed pass, and our unlimited translation plan is $149. None of our plans cost more than $200, so the pricing mentioned in your review is inaccurate. We also apologize if you received more outreach emails than you were comfortable with. We never intend for our outreach to feel like spam, and we appreciate the feedback as we continue improving our process. Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns.
