Shipping delays, need to update their return policy
Ordered a specific item and paid extra for expedited shipping to ensure arrived in time for an event. Needless to say, it did not arrive on time and now that the event has passed, the item is useless to me. Comically, I got asked to review it before it has even arrived… I understand that there are shipping delays out of their control but it is also out of my control. Now they tell me they are unable to reimburse what I spent on expedited shipping for an item that did not arrive on time and will not be refunded for the item, only offered store credit. AND then expect me to pay out of pocket to ship it back to them! I understand this is a small business - but their return policy is outdated and completely out of touch with what customer-first service should look like and instead they have their customers absorb all costs and inconvenience for returns. The experience has been frustrating to say the least. I do not recommend this company based on this and will not be ordering from them again.
