STACK Construction TechnologiesReviews of stackct.com

I have to share my experience, because it has been quite frustrating. Stack offered a free version of its takeoff software that I would use for the 2 houses we build per year. With the quantity of work that we do, it does not justify the price to purchase, plus the free version worked for what I needed. The free version started with 15 free measurements, then eventually changed to 400 free measurements. They call and email you every time you log in, which is fine, it's annoying but manageable. Then Stack CT decided I was using the free version too much and locked me out of my account. Since then, I have received un-ending marketing phone calls and emails. Being locked out of my account, I cannot unsubscribe from the emails. I have asked numerous time for Stack to stop contacting me with no success. After a lengthy and frustrated phone call with their Senior Account Executive asking them to stop emailing me and calling, I received another marketing email from that very same Senior Account Executive the very next day. The email said "Hey, Hoping we dont need to keep playing a cat and mouse game and waste all your time and effort! Whats preventing you from investing in the success of your business?". Really frustrating with no respect for requests to stop contacting.

Absolutely unacceptable experience with Stack. I subscribed to the service and, after only 14 days of using it, I realized the system was not a good fit for me and requested to cancel my subscription. That cancellation request was made almost TWO MONTHS AGO. Since then, I have sent multiple emails asking them to cancel my account, yet they continue to charge me. I have already been charged THREE times despite clearly and repeatedly requesting cancellation. At this point, this is beyond poor customer service. A customer should not have to chase a company for two months just to stop a subscription they no longer want. Ignoring repeated cancellation requests while continuing to take payments is completely unacceptable. I have documentation of my cancellation requests and all the emails I have sent. I expect my subscription to be cancelled IMMEDIATELY and the charges made after my original cancellation request to be REFUNDED. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering Stack be extremely careful before subscribing. Signing up was easy — getting them to stop charging me has been a completely different story.

This company is terrible to deal with. They sell you a lie saying that "it is blue beam on steroids" this is a complete lie terrible system many faults. Also, if you need support with working through the system good luck. Then if you want a refund don't expect it.

As the previous review states, very corrupt and unethical company! I have never used their software but they charged my card 3k! Customer service is horrible and didn’t care at all.

Ridiculously expensive for what it is. Price jumped from $300 to over $1,000 which they failed to disclose, then refused to refund the money. No online account settings...you need to call them to cancel which took multiple attempts for them to actually action it. The yr before the price hike they took the payment twice and refused to refund the second one for ages. Corrupt scumbags wouldn't go near them again. R.E to Stack reply, your communication was sent to a no longer used email address that did not match the one in my account settings, which was pointed out and stack point blank refused to acknowledge it. as I previously said stack did everything to try and avoid issuing a refund. criminal behaviour. As I said took ages...1 year to refund the double charge!

Excellent Take-off software I have used this software for 2 years. It offers features and value for any construction trade. I receive great follow-up from Stack Reps to make sure I am enjoying their service. I would highly recommend .
