Completely ripping Canadians off on shipping. Shipping to the states is free on an animatronic. In 2021 I used to pay $27.99 to ship an animatronic to Canada. This year it’s $140 for a 10 pound animatronic. I sent 3 emails and nobody responds. SCAMMERS

Placed an order for a $250+ item on April 21st, was supposed to be here by April 28th. They said it shipped on April 24th, yet nothing moves with their "Landmark" tracking, as if the package was never shipped and only a label was printed. Contacted them May 1st to ask what that was about with the no movement and all, CSR basically told me to contact them later, that was too early (was supposed to get this on April 28th remember!!). On the date he told me they would "look into it IF I contact them again", I opened a case with PP (don't ever make the mistake of paying them directly with a CC!), they totally IGNORED it, had to escalate and now they make this thing linger as much as they can instead of just answering to PayPal with their bogus tracking that is not moving! ... Should get my refund May 17th apparently ... they'll have held that $250+ cash of mine for close to a month ... with no explanation whatsoever except that I'm basically bothering them "too early" by contacting them 2 days after I was "supposed" to get the item! Avoir like the plague ... maybe if you can get their stuff straight from one of their physical store (when they're open), but avoid their website, they'll hold your money for months and provide no explanation on what's happening when, clearly, something WRONG is happening. You'll get the trouble of trying to get your payment back from your CC. EDIT : Now to put their "canned" answer here to make you believe they "care", they're fast! Still no answer to the paypal case so they can refund me, they still make that linger as long as possible, but here they are not even 24 hours after this review to say they care and to contact them TO THE SAME DAMN E-MAIL THEY BASICALLY TOLD ME TO HIT THE ROAD. This is the "same" situation that you didn't give a s**t 2 weeks ago, I can bring nothing new to the table. Respond to the paypal case with your bogus tracking so this payment can be released back to me asap instead of May 17th! I'm about to do a direct chargeback with my CC!

Items broke before they were ever removed from the package. Spirit would not do a return or exchange. I made the mistake of buying from these crooks last year and never again. Might as well buy from wish and save the money, junk quality. This store is a scam. Not sure how so many people can praise a company that sells such low quality products and doesn't stand behind them. There's a reason Spirit isn't open year round.

As said before, THE EMPLOYEES TOUCHING MY SON! they would never leave him alone, and they kept following him around the store. HE IS ONLY 10! One of the employees even tried bribing him to go into the storage room, and they tried grabbing him!!!! this unacceptable, and i will be contacting athourities if this EVER happens again!

There was an employee dressed as a furry. I did not know that was what I would be dealing with here. I tried to communicate but he kept barking and growling at me... Also, the fursuit looked like it was made from real animal fur. Then he whined and crawled towards me and licked my arm... Also he kept touching my son. Unacceptable.

I contacted Spirit at the end of October due to an issue with a costume I had purchased. They got back to me at the beginning of November and told me they would issue a refund. They called and left a message, so I called back and the person who answered the phone basically told me to call back the next day to get the original person I talked to on the phone. I couldn’t believe customer service told me to call back because they refused to help. So the next day someone else calls and says they’ll just process the refund for me. They take my original method of payment (credit card info) and said it would be 7-21 business days. This was on November 7th. Once it hit 21 business days I reached out multiple times with no response AT ALL! They took my credit card info so now I’m just wondering what they really did with it because here we are at the end of December and NO REFUND. They just took my credit card info for fun I guess or who knows what really happened to that information.

Ordered online October 8. Called on October 24 because I still hadn’t received my order. Ended up canceling my order because they showed it on back order and I would not get it by the 31st received a partial credit on October 27 for what they called shipping and tax, which shipping was free because I spent over $100 I am now on day 26 waiting still for my return refund when I called on the 30th I was told it will be another 21 days which I find very convenient that they’ve had my money this whole time and got it instantly out of my account but now I have to wait almost 42 business days and that’s if I even get it

They sold us a defective product and will not give a refund or exchange! I ordered an inflatable costume for my son for Halloween. We tested it before Halloween and it seemed to work fine. Twenty minutes into Halloween trick or treating the motor for the fan in the costume started making a loud noise and the costume deflated. I paid 60 dollars for a costume to work for 20 min, and I can’t return or exchange it because it’s after Halloween. Don’t shop here. You can buy the same thing on Amazon and return it if it is defective. Update (11/28/22). I filed a complaint on the BBB website. Spirit Halloween wrote back they would send a new costume. They never did. They only said that they would so I would close the complaint on the BBB website. That way it would look like they actually responded to the issue.
