BEWARE online orders! Ordered a costume for my son, came in a crappy bag and was broke, ordered a size medium and they sent an Exta-large. Online it states you can exchange in store. Went to the store to exchange it, and there is a current price difference between online and instore. I was told I could exchange in store but only if I paid the difference. WHAT A SCAM!!!!!

If I could rate it a zero I would. DO NOT BUY ONLINE! You cannot get hold of anyone telephonically. You cannot email. You cannot call. You cannot text. You cannot messenger. THEY cancel parts of orders and send the rest at your cost! FED UP. DISGUSTED! Do they even support the charity?

Got rude looks and got accused of stuff I didn't do.

Ordered one item-a skeleton decoration -that gave me the option to have shipped or picked up in a store a mile from my home. Item was available to pick up so I chose that. 4 days later and shows it’s still “processing”. I need the item. Phone number to store rings to a message stating that they do not accept calls at this time and directs you to figure out if items are in stock online. Clearly that doesn’t matter. What’s the point of ordering online and paying for something you don’t rcv or takes a week to “process”. The moneys been taken from my bank account already. But I can’t pick up the item until directed via email to do so. So far it’s been 4days.

I purchased an open box customer return that was supposed to be in good working condition from the Woodbridge,Nj store. They were nice enough to give a discount due to it being an Open Box return for which I was grateful and did not request. But when I got home and put it together, it turned out it was damaged. I returned the Mars Attacks animatronic to the Woodbridge store and he was apologetic and helpful. He contacted the Holmdel,Nj store for me and spoke to what I thought was a Manager I believe was Damian. It is a 30min drive in the rain for which I was willing to take just to get the Mars attacks animatronic. It was agreed to by the Managers that it would be an even swap for what I paid for what I assume was my inconvenience. But when I arrived at the Holmdel,Nj store,Damian inspected the old product and then inspected the product he had, which at that time I discovered was also a customer return, but he was not sure how to process the exchange due to the discount that was given to me, which at that time I discovered was stated in the reciept as damaged product. He then started speaking to a short light skinned female who acted more like the manager and said i could not return or exchange the purchase due to the discount I was given, as she stated I knowingly purchased a damaged product and it was not returnable. I explained how I purchased it, the managers had spoken to each other, and it was approved between them. Damian acknowledged he talked to the Woodbridge manager. She proceeded to call her boss through her earbuds and they stated if I wanted the product, I would have to pay the difference which was full price. So I asked why was i paying full price for something agreed upon by the managers. She stated I was getting a new product for a Damaged one. I then stated to her that the product she had was also not New but also a return. She said it didnt matter, it looks new. My frustatration was getting more and more between the back and forth and I asked who I could speak above her, can she get me there name and number or business card to which she pointed to her ear buds while she had her hood on her hoodie on the whole time and said he is listening to this conversation now. I never got her bosses information. I was frustated enough and did not want to explode or start cursing so I took the product back and returned to Woodbridge,Nj. The manager in Woodbridge,Nj appologized for the issue and refunded me. The Woodbridge manager is a stand up guy that is great in Customer service as he went above and beyond to help me. The Holdel,Nj Manager is a joke and shouldn't be in customer service. Sadly I am turned off by this interaction as she was probably on the phone with a district manager and he made the call to refuse me what was promised to me and what I drove 30mins in the rain with my daughter for. Will not shop here anymore. I will use the store to look at ideas and go online to find it elsewhere if I could.

About the Murfreesboro TN. store. why have you not opened yet? its Sept 27th, and the other locations around Nashville have been open for weeks. This is unacceptable. I was told you were going to be open by Today 9/27 then you're not. then it was by 2pm, now by 6-8pm? why not just say, we don't want your business so we are not opening? At least try to be honest with your open times.

Bought a jumping spider from the store. Item broke in about 5 evolutions. I went back to the store and the clerk gave me a number for zombie tech squad . Spoke with zombie tech squad who instructed me to send copy of receipt and explanation of problem and they would handle it . Sent all the info and got the response we don’t supply repair parts. That’s it . I responded asking if that what you call customer service. Company is a rip off. They will gladly take your money and provide a lot of smiles and lip service with no intent of backing the cheap garbage they sell. Spend your money elsewhere. I know I will.
