Crystal has collaborated with Future of Fish on several projects over the past decade related to sustainable seafood initiatives. Crystal brings her passion in service to the sector and has the highest integrity when it comes to living what you preach! She has filled many roles in our collaborations and is highly adaptable in meeting the needs of the project and the client. I wholeheartedly recommend her services.

Crystal is one of the best guest speakers and facilitators I have had the honor of working with during my time as a Professor and Director of the Cultural Anthropology Program at the University of San Francisco. I taught an Anthropology of Food course for multiple semesters and they have given multiple presentations (both in-person and virtual formats) on Food Justice with a focus on Seafood Sustainability and its intersections with Food Justice and Human Rights. Crystal has an amazing ability to make complex ideas accessible and relevant to social issues we are all impacted by - which kept my students excited and engaged in the discussions. She cares deeply about the work she does and the communities she represents and works with - she is authentically working towards collective liberation and it is inspiring! She even extended internship opportunities to my students and she volunteered multiple times to be part of the panel for our class final project. Crystal is a true scientist, researcher, and scholar with professional experience in multiple fields of food justice and shares her knowledge (and cooking!) with care and passion. She is very professional, organized, a great communicator, and willing to collaborate with clients to meet mutual goals. I cannot emphasize enough how much Crystal is one of the best consultants I have ever worked with, and confidently endorse her work and services!
