Samdea is an independent brand founded by Cristina Penna, dedicated to handcrafted malas, contemplative practices, and meaningful ritual objects.Every mala is made by hand, one bead at a time, using genuine natural stones and carefully selected materials. Stones are never dyed or heat-treated, and each piece is created to support meditation, japa, breath practice, sankalpa, or simply a daily pause.Alongside ready-made malas, Samdea offers custom pieces created around a person’s story, intention, or practice, as well as books, workshops, incense, and guided experiences. At the heart of Samdea is a simple idea: a mala is not a magical object. Its meaning grows through the relationship you build with it and through the practices and choices you repeat over time.Matter. Intention. Body. Repetition. One bead at a time.
