I was so happy to find this site when I broke a serving platter on Christmas. I didn't know the pattern name while I was searching, so it cost me quite a bit of time. I submitted my order, received the automated notice that order processing would require 2-7 days. A few weeks later, I realized I had not yet seen the merchandise. I reached out, got the automated message again. I called, the line was perpetually busy. I wrote to a couple of addresses that I managed to dig up for them. I did eventually hear from "Robin" with mention of chemotherapy and that the "girls" minding the store didn't know china well. I was told that an attempt would be made to get my order addressed the next day. Another week or two elapsed and I heard/received nothing. I reached out again with an inquiry, as well as sympathy if cancer was actually involved on their end. I heard nothing. I reached out AGAIN and said I was eager for resolution and would soon be considering pursuing alternative means for satisfaction on this issue. (Their site proclaims BBB membership.) The next time I sat to track the money, I discovered that an hour earlier, a refund had been issued. I would not have known this had I not initiated the search for information info the financial piece myself. Another individual included a note with the refund that (s)he was unaware what had happened with my order. This is all very unfortunate since I believe there is a market for this sort of thing and few are those who purport to do what they do. Had I felt myself a victim of fraud, I would have gone with one star. Even so, the amount of time and energy wasted on my part, wholly unavoidable by some effort on theirs, made a single star a very tempting option.
