So, this product positions itself like a solution for podcasters who want quality recording. Here are the problems: - If you record your meeting/podcast, you'll experience a lag during your meeting because the file is uploading when you are in the meeting. This causes a lag and very very low quality. I want to see the person I am talking to as well. - There is almost no connection, automation, or integration with other platforms. - You can't share the HQ recording with your editor from the platform. You need to spend your valuable time downloading and uploading to Drive. - Really bad customer support. You need to book a demo with the sales team to get replies for basic questions even if you are a paid user - Update: I reached out to customer support again. They told me that I could not download the All Participant HQ recording. Actually, this is not true. I can do that. But I want to share this with my VA. Seems like I can't do that. I highly recommend looking for another solution.

The tool itself is ok, there are better like Descript for exaple that are also better priced. Customer Service, pricing transparency and overall satisfaction with the company is crap. Tried to upgrade from Standard to Pro plan on a monthly plan. CHecked the monthly boc and went through to payment. The system automatically changed to yearly on the payment page but you don't get to see the actual cost you are being charged. Go onto customer service and asked to have it changed to monthly and was advised I had asked for yearly. Some discussin later, they agreed to reverse the yearly Pro plan and I thought charge me for the monthly upgrade. Instead they cancelled my standard plan as well. They didn't inform me. I only found out when I tried to edit my podcast recording and was advised I didn't have the hourly space for it. When I went back onto chat, it took an hour for them to reinstate my standard plan. I asked for an upgrade for the rest of the month as compensation and I would pay the new amount from next cycle, in two weeks. They refused stating my old plan was never cancelled and it was my fault for not having enough money to ;pay for the yearly contract. The company believes that US$13 is more improtant than a happy customer. Do not use based on Customer Service and Customer experince standards.

Riverside used to work flawlessly but over time, the quality of their podcast recording product has gone downhill. Now, I can barely make it through a session without losing one of the tracks of either myself or my guest. Their customer service support is awful. They only allow you to resolve your issue by chat. It's absolutely miserable getting their help.
