CDMX is just amazing. The RY apartments are mind blowing. So extra. Each 3 bedroom could fit 30 ppl (we did that a few times.) RY never ceases to amaze me in how well they choose their guides. Giral was our city leader. 11/10. Yaa was the community leader for a group that began their first month of a year long journey in cdmx. Also 11/10. With Giral, you get deep into all that makes cdmx special. With Yaa, we got constant attention to our group needs. Both did everything to give us an unforgettable experience

Marina was such a pleasure to get to know and spend time with while in Valencia. Her kindness, knowledge and willingness to always help made our time so special!

I've used RY twice now (Medellín and Tirana) both we're great. I've been group traveling since 2018 but it was always vacation based travel. Now I work remotely and wanted to travel longer and work so I googled and found RY. The concept is perfect because I can pick dates and locations that work for me and know that I'll have friends there when I arrive who are like minded.

Stop what you’re doing and book Lisbon. This was my 5th month with RY and this was one of my favorite months. The Azores trip and Sintra trips were unforgettable - just might have to do it again. The apartments are modern, luxurious honestly- the best apartments in RY yet. Work from the Ideas workspace rooftop for incredible views of the city. Most importantly, spend the month with Vivianna and Pedro, they’ll show you the best time - trust me. Rain or shine, Lisbon has something for everyone & the food scene is amazing.

I have had an a great month in Florianopolis! Being able to work remote is a privilege but can be isolating. Remote Year has created such a wonderful opportunity to have the resources to work hard in a great co-working space while also playing hard in a new country with an incredible community. It was been so nice to see how warm and inclusive everyone is. Thiago went above and beyond to make our experience here in Floripa wonderful, and to introduce us to his cities (including Rio!). And Cata brings so much warm energy to the group!

Floripa was a beautiful place to visit, but Thiago & Cata really made it an amazing experience! Despite the poor weather, they made sure we always had something to do/see and they were little rays of sunshine!! Floripa is 110% worth visiting <3

After years of seeing ads, I finally pulled the trigger with a 1-month trip to Mexico City. I was paired with two amazing roommates within a walking/bike ride distance to the co-working space and a ton of cafes. The local team and Community Leader were active, attentive, and available the entire time. The events helped everyone easily bond, while learning about the city and shaping out and overall memorable experience.

I think the power of Remote Year lies in it's community & community leaders. We've all joined this journey to explore and discovery new places, but having a local team lead us to the magical places and experience the less touristy places is the real value add here. Amazing community leaders, who go above and beyond, to help you enjoy and navigate new cities is invaluable. And they're just lovely humans. Couldn't ask for greater leaders in Cata & Thiago on the Pele Journey. Great team, great experience.
