The refresher courses were excellent and helped me increase my skills in proofreading. However, I am having trouble syncing my I-pad with i-Annotate. Could someone please give me help in accomplishing that?

Good company. I leaned a lot about proofreading and how important it is to have that final set of eyes go over every written work. I would take this class again.

Great program; the only downside is they send WAY too many emails. It’s overwhelming and needs to be cut back.

Good review of my English classes and what has changed over the years. I knew some words were correct with single L's and double L's but never knew that the difference comes from American English versus British English. Enlightening!!!

It was good. I feel that some of the material is outdated. For instance, the list of headhunters is out of date. I've only been through about 6 of them and half of them are gone. I feel that the contract issue should be more integrated into the program, not just separate. But overall, I thought it was good.

Hi, the course and the lead up to the final exam was great, thank you! I just had to purchase PDF Expert to get you the 15 annotated versions at the last minute (having originally done them by hand) but you guys were very prompt in helping me through that. PDF Expert is good for me on my iMac desktop, because I don't/would't really use iAnnotate on a phone or tablet (I do have a small, HP Microsoft laptop, though). I would like to see about moving into a/the copy editor course(?) and I think I remember there was also a link to a preliminary discussion about Court/Legal Transcription services, as well. I signed up for the Ignite Plus course almost a month ago. I have followed through with each module, taken all the quizzes, and am now working my way through the practice essays. I've signed up for the CMOS free trial and now feel compelled to buy the punctuation book, as that's where I'm having most of my issues. The only thing that I find a bit confusing is all the emails that are recommending other programs (writing, copyediting, transcription, etc.). I'd like to finish the proofreading course first before entertaining any other courses to gain additional skills.

Proofread Anywhere's General Proofreading course is great for anyone who needs to either brush up on their English knowledge or needs a comprehensive introduction to the material. All the exercises are curated for the success of the student, and if you follow all their instructions and do all the practice worksheets and essays they provide, you can pass their exam easily, as I did. They also include lessons about using your proofreading knowledge as a freelancer, both how to promote yourself and how to account for health insurance and taxes as a freelancer. I'm giving four instead of five stars for now because I cannot speak for the usefulness of the course material about becoming a freelancer, since I haven't started that phase of my career yet.
