Unprofessional communication and unfulfilled service promises post-payment
I paid for the Survey Service from Profile Updated Careers last month. Prior to payment, their team was incredibly responsive, answering my email inquiries within an hour. Unfortunately, the quality of service and communication drastically declined once they received my money. During my scheduled one-on-one call with the business owner, I was met with unprofessional remarks, including disparaging statements about working with specific nationalities, which felt incredibly ironical and disrespectful. The core issue arose days after our session when I noticed that one of the primary survey websites recommended in the package was completely broken and no longer offering micro-jobs. I messaged the business owner on WhatsApp to flag this issue. Despite the fact that we had been actively communicating hours prior, and despite the company’s official web policy guaranteeing a response within 24 hours on business days, my message was completely ignored for 5 days. During this 5-day silence, the owner remained actively posting content on social media. When I finally sent a polite reminder pointing out the 24-hour policy discrepancy, the response I received was incredibly condescending and rude. Rather than addressing the technical failure of the recommended survey site, the owner explicitly stated that they "do not owe anyone further support after the one-on-one meeting" and dismissed my outreach. A company that guarantees customer satisfaction on their official website should not leave clients stranded with non-functional resources or respond with hostility when held to their own terms. Because they failed to provide functional service links and refused proper support, I have formally requested a full refund. As of today, I have yet to receive a response. Proceed with caution if you expect reliable after-sales support
